Supernova in NGC 7331, a galaxy 45 million light-years or so away. In the same capture, a distant glimpse of Stephan’s Quintet, where four of the five galaxies are clustered 290 million light-years from us. Sound on! On the far north coast is the Giant’s Causeway where unique geologic forms abut the cold sea. Beautiful and windy with views to Scotland and a fun story of ancient giants. Lastly, a full set rehearsal with the guys of Freedom 35s, so much fun! Aloha Ireland, see you again 💚 by @lkkrides

An adventure to the Sperrin Mountains with ancient stone formations, fairy trees, narrow lanes, and remote farmhouses. We found the Trolls and Northern Ireland’s only Dark Sky Park. And had a friendly tour of the OM Observatory with some fellow dark sky advocates. A long Easter weekend in the South 🇮🇪 Lodgings in The Burren, a unique karst limestone landscape with a wild wind and a lotta adorable sheep. And a chocolate factory 🍫 A multi-course fancy dinner out in a castle- started with a delightful gin & tonic and ended with treats and coffee after the dessert course 😁 The Cliffs of Moher! A walk along the Flaggy Shore where a polar plunge is a weekly activity not a New Year’s one off. And walkable Galway city… Oscar Wilde, charming pubs (my first experience in a snug), and street artists galore.
