Rumah Saya

Zoekend naar een connectie tussen cultuur en authenticiteit, Chanell neemt elementen uit haar Indonesische/Molukse afkomst en combineert deze met verschillende interesses uit haar buitengewone leven. De collectie toont verborgen gelijkenissen en creëert een plek van comfort, waar traditie en alternatieve levensstijlen in harmonie kunnen bestaan. Zoals de titel vertaalt: een plek die je ‘mijn thuis’ kunt noemen.

Searching for a connection between culture and authenticity, Chanell takes elements from her Indonesian/Moluccan heritage and combines them with different interests from her extraordinary life.
The collection reveals hidden similarities and creates a place of comfort, where tradition and alternative lifestyles can coexist in harmony.
As the title translates, a place you can call “my home”.

October 6th I had the amazing opportunity to show my designs in the New Talent Fashion Show at @thefashionweek.nl !!!
Greatfull for this experience 🌟 I realized that I love these fashion shows and the whole production around it. It excites me to be a part of!! Manifesting to be featured in more shows in the future 🙏

Mijn eigen interpretatie van de yin yang filosofie. Alles vloeit, draait en stroomt. Balans is circulair en staat nooit stil, net als water in een rivier.
