Whole time I was the problem… 🤭🤣Real talk, though;As a single parent, I have a lot of pressure on my plate. Unforeseen obstacles & lived experiences that neither my child is aware of nor the world seems to understand because I don’t care to explain, if I’m being quite honest. Yet somehow- I have managed to spend time renewing my mind, meditating, and putting my hand to the plow in spite of how I feel because I know that I have a greater purpose than my present circumstances!AND You can bet I of pull it off, seamlessly 👏🏽every 👏🏽single👏🏽 day with the organized chaos of juggling all the things as an #entrepreneur with #vitiligo 🤣 #iykyk The most important thing I can continue to manage is my mindset, the way I show up, and the things that I model for my son.All jokes aside is so important to continue to love on yourself and to spend time and self reflection to be the best version you can for your babies.Although I didn’t grow up having a stable example of unconditional love, the be attitudes, and the fruit of this. I actively do my best to parent myself and my son with grace and gratitude. This is honestly THE greatest compliment I receive as a woman driving for Uber. And I truly think it would be a miss for me to forget to acknowledge all of the amazing things that happened at Camp Victory 2026 over the last four days.💯As we finally made our way to Dallas, it didn’t hit me until I was halfway away from Charlotte just how deeply we had connected with all of the kids at the camp, as well as the parents. I saw myself in so many of the other moms and dads — especially the few of us who have Vitiligo and children with Vitiligo.🫶🏻🫶🏼🫶🏽🫶🏾🫶🏿It’s an unexplainable bond that these children make, and I’m so proud of each and every single one of their talents, and their bravery to share their gifts, try something new, and share their vulnerability and love so much this weekend.💜It was really nice to have the support, especially of the @globalvitiligofoundation and the volunteers. I want to specifically note that @viti_dre777 really touched mine and Aaron’s heart — they have their own special bond now. The tools and resources he gave us are things that will stay with me for a lifetime and really helped me to perceive how I process things from a paradigm shift.🙏🏽✨I’m grateful for the growth we experienced and the impact of just how thoughtfully everything was curated by @pe.arl19 .
