POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I have an October actual comedy schedule! Let's do this and plan to get your tickets now cause yeah there are a million things going on this month.

Saturday 10/17 12pm-5pm I'll be emceeing and doing standup at @porchfestla all day at the Los Feliz "treehouse" of horrors! (OK I added that last part cause it's October.) Message me for the exact address. It's also No Kings Day! Go to your local action in the morning then support Porchfest in the afternoon!

Sunday 10/18 at @taocomedystudio 730pm it's @thatastrologyshow The Libra Show! I'm performing and doing tarot as @divinatx.io .

Friday 10/23 8pm I'm hosting #NoHoComedyAsylum at your fave NoHo private backyard digs. Message me, @albahmani or @elhump for the exact address.

After taking off a lot of September with the exceptions of mics and a couple fundraisers, it's great to be back. Open to bookings through early 2027 now, or any last-minute Halloween season stuffs!

Also a word for my peers posting all the Sebastian Maniscalco videos.

First, solidarity.

Secondly, I hope this isn't All Lives Mattering this topic but I want to remind everyone that issues such as brazen content scraping, training AIs on publicly posted material, and how actual algorithms themselves function create this holistic Black Mirror universe where some people will pretty much never get seen to begin with. And so much of the wealth trickles up. In every profession, we deserve to see the working class of humans live and thrive. Especially in creative professions.

Something to think about.

Who thinks @daisychainfields should have me as their token non-lady emcee?
(Bonus, the fest is being held in my secondary hometown. But unlike certain other artists from OC you'll never find me hawking a prayer app. Unless something has gone horribly wrong...or the app is called "Be q€€r and Hail Satan/Seitan" lolol)

I'm available to do your awards shows, rock n roll shows, burlesque & variety...you name it!

Anyway hugest thanks to @joywholived @officialfilthywarumono 's Transformative Revue for having me at your festival in April! Respect TGI/GNC performing arts and keep us funded with 🍑s in seats!

Also biggest shoutout to all the ASL interpreters for this show. The real MVPs.

Hope all of you out there had a productive and rebellious Pride month.

I wanted to get in on all those fun industrial dance videos I saw people making, so a friend and I filmed our own! Dance style contains elements of industrial club dance as well as Punking- a West Coast gay culture dance genre originated in the 1970s nightclub scene and transmitted to me & many others by last living OG Punker @viktormanoel .

Do note, this is an unofficial video, but I at least got a nice blessing from the band!

Hey everyone! Make sure to reach out to me for the exact address of my porch @porchfestla because it is normally a private home (I think?).

But if you go to the porchfestla.com homepage all performer info is in the Google doc. All events part of Porchfest are free to attend.

Butt-lifting shorts and crop tops encouraged! Y'all the queer community has been being h0es at the gym since you were in diapers!

(Also bring water/snacks/sun umbrella Saturday; it's supposed to be hot and most of the venues are outdoors.)
Most venues are running programming 12-5pm both days. Westside venues are next weekend!

@porchfestla Los Feliz treehouse 12-5pm ish Saturday the 17th

@thatastrologyshow Sunday 10/18 730pm @taocomedystudio

Hopefully pop into the Magic Mic @thewitchscottage1111
Thursday 630pm signups

I will talk trash on bad comedians who punch down, IDC. Your guano wasn't funny in 2011 and it isn't now and what are you all gonna do. Keep not booking me? Ooooh I'm so scared! Maybe I can keep not hosting SNL! What a career blow!

Seriously those of you who don't even have the loquats to go full force but are just taking advantage of a cultural moment when women/ LGBTQ+ people are acceptable punching bags, you are the saddest capitulating human beings ever, and no podcast will ever fill the social void in your heart. As someone who tries to be less-toxically masculine, y'all are a disgrace.

Smell you later!

My first Son of Monsterpalooza!
Had a great time vending as @mmix_art . It's interesting that it was our first of this event because this marked the end of one era and beginning of another for us. I don't know more details yet, I just know we want to improve what we're doing even more.

What I did not anticipate was the Twin Peaks panel with Sherilyn Fenn, Ray Wise, Jeremy (Alter?) made me lose it. I was crying almost the whole time. It really was just another affectionate memory of David Lynch and the words got to me in particular. I truly feel that David Lynch, human though he was, was a rare artist as one should be--a spiritual healer and fulfiller of a tribal role.

Sherilyn Fenn repeated to the audience what I have heard all great artists/instructors in the many genres of creativity I have studied and pursued paraphrase in some way-- to be your most authentic self in your art and to bring your weirdness is the true blessing. Only you can realize and filter the world as only you can. All of this was the constant ethos that Lynch pursued.

Was also great catching up with @averose13 and @disasterina after many years. I consider them to be artists in this vein too...beings who bring their full weird selves to create only things they could make.

#KeepLAWeird . Keep the world weird. Fasc1sm feeds on the boring and the mid. Be an engine of weirdness or peace if it's too hard to be an engine of joy. The phobes can fix their hearts or 💀. Be what someone younger than you needs to hear.

Oh gosh, maybe Lestat, Louis and Nosferatu(ssy) are indeed the 3 goth genders. Anyway, did fun things with people I like this week which is impressive considering how much the apocalypse was getting to me mentally and physically.

Tl; dr, "I am triggered by soap dispenser boogers." A hilarious conversation that only @jezabella.goldmine
and I could've had took place.

Pics from @thewitchscottage1111 & @obelisknight now Obsidian

I'm not really a fan of the "the loudest opinion is the most heard" era. Mostly because, maybe some people here have shared this experience, some people are loud but they're deemed to not be so in the proper way so people still ignore them. Everyone wants to have an opinion on who's being a victim or survivor in the correct way, but few people are actually listening, and allowing that person to be a dimensional, messy human beyond how what they communicated loudly or in a timely way served others. A lot of people want to blame how people act and the choices they make, cause honestly, feeling bad is kinda fun and good sometimes. I think we leave out that part.

A lot of people internalized the idea that the term "patriarchy" is too scary and academic to encourage people's changed behavior.

A lot of people are walking around letting fear win in an absurd way right now. You were successfully t*rrorized. Being punk rock/ alt is not an abstraction, especially in these times. Maybe people are finding out it was just an aesthetic for them. I'd also like to offer that when people present a tough exterior, they are also most often a target for systemic manipulators and liars-- see: our country. People figure out ways to get past that filter. So life demands mental endurance and durable strategy and cleverness, now more than ever, not just a tough exterior.

But it's ok to want more. Even when systems are failing us across the board. by @llfaunt

"AMERICAN WITCH STORY" SHOW + @parlor13society GRAND OPENING

Went to go visit our piece "Witch Danse" in the gorgeous back parlor of Parlor 13 for their grand opening event. All of the pieces look stunning and every single piece looks gorgeous on display!

Our framed piece is available for viewing & s4l3 and there are also a few copies of the piece unframed in the shop as well. The art show will stay up through this month and the beginning of November.

Thank you @mysticdylanofficial and to all involved with the shop! It was a huge, dressed-up shindig. To great success and prosperity going forward.

All of our publicly displayed art is based in original photographic imagery and always AI-free from A to Z, despite tags you may see here to prevent scraping.
