“JOSH” a self-titles project by Josh Cameron & Lia Wells

T H E P R O C E S S

Started off simple: explore new poses, find new angles, see Josh through a different lens. But simple doesn’t mean easy. Behind each frame is a negotiation- Josh contorting, holding, committing to positions that didn’t come naturally, and Lia finding angles that required just as much physical dedication on the other side of the camera. That tension visible in the work and the moment we knew it was more than just a simple idea.

“JOSH” is a document of two people refusing to settle for the first take, the safe angle, or familiar pose. It’s about what gets unlocked when you stay in the discomfort long enough for something to come through.

“JOSH” is a self-titled project by Josh Cameron & Lia Wells. This passion project is more than portfolio work or creating something cool. This project captures the essence of embracing one’s potential and removing the fear of fully presenting yourself.

Going back to basics, this project isn’t about fancy production crews, aesthetic backgrounds or objects, it’s about being vulnerable, being expressive, and stepping into the version of oneself that yearned to be seen.

This is JOSH, just more of him.
