A LITTLE ABOUT WHAT WE DO

We’ve always been a little under the radar, but In keeping with our increased activity on social media I thought it would be a good idea to tell you a little more about what we do, who we are and what we can offer clients.

LLIDesign was created almost two decades ago by the Levene family, with myself, Linda Levene, as Design Director and David and Sam Levene running the management and construction arms of the business.

We’re blessed with a great design team and construction team who we look on as extended family.

When we set up these companies, all those years ago, we wanted to offer what we would have wanted if we were starting a project:-

Seamless integration of all aspects of the project
Exemplary design across all areas
A complete turnkey offer
Really nice, approachable people to deal with who would understand us and work with us to achieve our design goals

To this end LLIDesign offers high quality, well considered Architectural Design, Interior Architecture and Interior Design as well as Lighting design, Home automation and Landscape design.

Our wholly owned sister construction company, Pegasus Property, constructs what LLIDesign creates.

This allows for complete control of the whole process and from the clients’ perspective a seamless vertical experience with one point of contact throughout.

However, for those just requiring design services we also offer these as a stand alone proposition.

We believe that this distinctive approach makes LLIDesign unique in the industry

Over the years we’ve created many many beautiful homes for happy clients and won arm fulls of awards and accolades.

Whether crafting a perfect vibe for a pied a terre or creating a family home that’s great for home entertaining we always endeavour to create spaces that inspire next level living.

We firmly believe that well designed spaces have the power to enhance lives

It’s such a joy to design and work with so many fantastic people, both clients, suppliers, artisans and of course, our team.

If there’s anything that you’d like to know please drop us a comment and we’ll do our best to answer taken in Highgate, London by @llidesign

Come with me to Decorex!

It's one of the most important interior design shows of the year here in London, and it's where we get a first look at what we'll all be seeing in our homes next year: lighting, fabrics, furniture and all sorts of wonderful materials.

Everyone else will show you the prettiest stands. I wanted to look at it the way a homeowner should: would this actually work in your home, and why?

Here are a few of the things I loved. Which would you have? Tell me below 👇

One light isn’t enough: why your room needs more than one type of light

If your room never quite feels right in the evening, it’s very often the lighting. One light in the middle of the ceiling just isn’t enough.

Have a look at this room. There’s a soft glow all the way round the ceiling, lights tucked inside the shelves, pendants over the dining table and a lamp in the corner. Each one does a different job, and together they make the room feel warm and welcoming, whatever the time of day.

Try this tonight: turn your lights on, stand in the doorway and ask yourself, is all the light coming from one place? If it is, a lamp or two at a lower level will make more difference than you’d think.

How many different lights do you have in your living room? Tell me below 👇 And save this for when you’re planning your next room.

Don’t buy furniture until you’ve done this.

It’s very easy to fall in love with a sofa, dining table or beautiful chair and buy it before you’ve properly planned the room.
But before you buy anything, you need to know how the whole space is going to work — the layout, the scale of the furniture and how you’re going to move around it.
A little planning at the beginning can save you from some very expensive mistakes later.
It’s one of the principles we use every day at LLI Design
Plan the room first.
Shop second

Before you start choosing furniture, look at the room itself.
The proportions, the sight lines, how you move through the space and what you see when you first walk in all affect how a room feels.
Get the space working first. The furniture comes afterwards.
Would you know what to look for first in your room?

This is not AI!!
A recent commission for a beautiful living space in Chelsea. A diptych that also works as two standalone pieces. Joined together in a bespoke automated frame. Thank you Linda @llidesign for commissioning me for this project. So lovely to work together with you, the design team and the loveliest clients on this. 💙

This is how you create atmosphere in your bathroom: through materials that speak to one another.

High-end bathrooms aren’t built from single samples.

They’re built from palettes - curated, layered, and balanced so no element fights for attention.

It’s the harmony between stone, metal, and texture that elevates the entire space.

Follow @llidesign for more behind-the-scenes design intelligence.
And save this for your next renovation.

There’s something timeless about a calm, layered bedroom.

Soft textures, gentle lighting and a palette that asks you to slow down - it’s these quiet details that make a space feel truly restful.

A reminder that luxury doesn’t have to shout; it can whisper.

Save this if you’re planning a bedroom refresh.

A home should feel like you.

At LLI Design, we never start with furniture.
We start with you -your rhythm, your values, your spirit.
When a home honours those, it becomes a place you can truly live in.

Tell me: what emotion do you want your home to hold?
