GNA🧬 presents: TORN🥇

WHEWWWW i remember starting off my introduction to the community back in 2021 post covid. After not making GRV, i was presented with the opportunity to train with GRooVe and throughout the years, i lost that drive to join a competitive team and became content with my journey as a dancer exhibitioning and performing with various teams. I swore to myself that I would not want the pressure to join a competitive team because I did not want to put myself through that experience.

Five years later, here I am, on the debut season of GNA with the family ive grown to love, winning first place at @bustagroovesd experiencing what it means to compete and win my very first competition EVER 🥹

BIG THANKS TO THE BIG DAWGS @ivxnparedes and @davidlimberlake FOR PUSHING US TO THE TOP‼️ No matter where we were in the process, we came out first in the end and thats all that matters 😼 so grateful for the openness and care board took to cultivate what it means to be a team on GNA!

Thank you to @ivxnparedes for trusting me and @rheannabasilio for always letting us spearhead costuming for everyone. Even on GRooVe, it always felt special that we were given the opportunity to work on fire costumes. Mucho love to Rhe especially for formatting the ideas we had, and making those ideas come to life! I couldnt have done any of this without you🫶

s/o @mikaylajpreston for my favorite moment during hell week: "Mikayla if you hit me imma be so pissed off." 6/24 WEDNESDAY ~2:00AM iykyk
