Too High To Sleep✨

So this song started back in February 2021, when I bought a T-shirt that had “Too high to sleep” written on it. I loved that line and knew I wanted to use that line in a song.

Flash forward a couple of months and I’m on the phone to my the girlfriend. I was telling her about my struggles with songwriting at the time and she suggested writing a song on the phone with her. About 20 minutes later Too High To Sleep was written. Obviously it was so different to what we know it to be now.

Last day of 2025. This year tested me in ways I didn’t expect, especially in the middle of the year. But I’m coming out stronger, clearer, and grateful. For the people I met, the ones I lost, and everything in between. A photo from every month to remember it as it was.

T E L E P H O N E

Telephone turns five today. I still remember writing it and being heavily influenced by Catfish and The Bottlemen. The chorus came first and the whole song grew from there. It was never meant to be personal, just a story I wanted to tell and one that I think everyone relates to at some point.

When we went into the studio I realised we had never talked about who would sing which parts. I decided it was time to sing most of my own song instead of splitting vocals like we did on Under The Moonlight.

This one is still one of my favourites to play and I have been feeling the love for it again recently. Thank you all for that ♥️ by @lloydcapollo

The ✨bass✨ for Booklet. This is easily one of my favourites to play live. I love everything about this song. Written on the back of a heartbreak, in my opinion, it’s one of my brother’s best songs. I love my harmonies & bass lines & I wanted to kick start this with one of my favourites. by @lloydcapollo
