What’s up ya’ll! It’s about that time again 🤣 I’m going to be doing a pop up class that’s centered around choreography which usually consists of different styles of Afro movement mixed with other styles I’ve trained in influenced by hip hop. In this class specifically, it’ll be more centered around retention, texture, movement quality/clarity and musicality. This is intended to be a two weeks series to really feel comfortable with the execution. I’ll be warming you guys up with Afro grooves and again, I will be breaking down the movement in this choreography but this not going to be centered around foundations. If you want to learn more Afro foundations, I can def point you in the right direction ♥️

Coincidentally, @emma_wambo is teaching for the rest of this month on Mondays at @afrodanceseattle and beginners on Tuesdays. I do specifically pull from Afro foundations that I’ve learned/practiced in her classes! A great source and teacher for Afro foundations! Be sure to take her class if you’re wanting more!
