ChatGPT (@openai) and Claude (@claudeai) both quietly switched their free versions to smarter models this month.

The holiday I needed.

Two weeks away from the business felt irresponsible.

I’d be seven hours behind Perth with an agency to run.

If you run a business, you know that feeling. The one where a week off feels like a risk to everything.

So I tested something…

I left the day to day to @eibeekenz_ and the AI system I’ve been building for the last 8 months. Then I watched what happened.

14 days.
4 shoots briefed.
3 client deliveries out the door.
1 re-edit requested overnight and delivered before I woke up.

Not everything was perfect. A few things broke. Most were fixed in minutes.

Here’s what I realised. I’ve finally got an AI system running inside @ludioxmedia , not a demo. A system that understands context and only needs me at the start and at the end for quality control.

If I hadn’t started experimenting with Claude Code eight months ago, this holiday would have looked very different.
Experiment, learn from failures, understand the data and keep building 🧱🤖

What are we saying?
Who are we talking to?
And what do we want them to remember?

Bit of a weird one this.
I’ve been shooting for close to 10 years, and most of my week now goes on building AI systems…

People keep asking if I’ve packed in the video side.
I haven’t…

The reason I go on about AI is that everyone selling it to business owners hands over a PDF...

But the caveat is, the camera holds the variable in making your business seen…

That’s the bit I’ve got that they haven’t or understood how AI actually understands context…

So I’m going to be posting a bit differently from now on, and I want to be straight up about why i'm doing this.

6 people asked me to build them an AI system last week, and I’ve never once advertised that I do it.

I run a media agency here in Perth and I’ve been rebuilding it on AI, mostly because my brain drops things and the system doesn’t.

So I’m building an AI audit system for businesses and I’m going to show you the whole thing as I build it, the wins and the stuff ups. It’s a bit out of my comfort zone doing this but yeah, stick around.
