They are H O M E ❤️😭🐾

After four days with my Gramma and Papa (taking such good care of me), Mom and Dad are home. And I couldn't be happier.

Nothing like a dog greeting 😍🥰

Hi, it's me. Lloyd. 🐾
Just checking in to remind you to sniff the fresh air, chase something that makes you happy, and don't forget to wag your tail once in a while. ❤️

Mom figured out if she puts a treat on the phone and sets the timer for 3 seconds - it makes a good selfie.

Hi friends, it’s Lloyd 🐾

i’m just a baby but i already know a lot of things like sit, lay down, roll over… and how to get treats immediately

i love running with my toys so you chase me (please chase me. it’s important.)

i go to bed early because growing is exhausting

come watch me get bigger, smarter, and even more good

Sure I seem cute.

Do I dig 3ft holes in the backyard? ✅
Do I destroy every box in my visual proximity? ✅
Do I chew the hands of my sisters dollies? ✅

Do I love you more than anything else ✅✅✅❤️

POV: You opened your camera and accidentally activated maximum cuteness. 🧸🐾

I'm Lloyd. Professional heart thief, part-time troublemaker, full-time good boy. 🤎

My hobbies include being ridiculously handsome, getting into things I shouldn't, and convincing everyone I've never done anything wrong.

Be honest… would you be able to tell this face NO?! 🥹👇

🐾 Follow along for more fluffy chaos!

I'm a big tough boy. Until my little bestie pulls out the pearls and sunglasses. 😎

Do I have a choice? Nope.
Would I do anything for my girl? Absolutely. ❤️🐾

Being fabulous is exhausting. 😂

😂 Lloyd has officially been de-fluffed.
I dropped my dog off at the groomer and picked up somebody’s long-legged Victorian child.
Before: ☁️ majestic floof.
After: 🦙 excuse me, Mother, where are my trousers?
The groomer assures me this is Lloyd.
I remain unconvinced.
Also WHY WAS HE HIDING THAT MUCH LEG UNDER THERE?! 😂

Hi, I’m Laken. 🤎 The human behind Lloyd.

I waited over 10 years for a dog. I watched people walking theirs with this ridiculous longing, pet every dog I could, and kept thinking, one day.
Then one day, I stopped waiting.
I went looking for my dog.

And I found Lloyd. 🐾

My first dog. My first puppy. And WOW 😂 I was wildly unprepared for the chaos that is puppyhood.
But I wanted all of it. The training, the mess, the noises, the companionship, the little shadow following me around and the greeting at the door.
I waited a decade for a dog.

Then I went looking for him. And I found mine. 🤎

Hi, it’s me, Lloyd. 🐾
Just out here living the life I was clearly destined for.
Golden hour. Fresh grass. My people nearby. A leash that is mostly a suggestion.

I don’t know what “meant to be” means, but Mom says she waited a really long time for me.
Personally, I think I was waiting for her too. 🤎

Anyway. Gotta go. There’s something over there I absolutely need to sniff.

Dogs don’t care what you accomplished today, what you look like, how much money you have, whether the house is clean, or whether you said the perfect thing.

Their world is basically:
Are my people here?
Are we together?
Is there something interesting to sniff?
Could this possibly be food?
BEST DAY EVER.

And there’s something kind of profound about that. They don’t seem to spend much time wishing the moment were different. A walk they’ve taken 300 times still has news. You coming through the door is still an event. Sitting beside you is enough.

Lloyd doesn’t know whether life is going according to plan.

He just knows his people are in it. 🐾❤️

Not a paid promotion. Unfortunately. 😂

Lloyd has decided Tim Hortons is not a coffee shop. It is a drive-thru treat distribution centre for dogs.

One look at that window and this man is placing his own order. 🐶🍩

“Hi yes, I’ll have a Timbit. Actually… make it two. My mom’s paying.”

Happy Monday Frens
