This past week,I shared my testimony. I wasn’t planning on it.I’ve carried these parts of my story for years,I felt this tug in my heart to share. I knew that if God was asking me to open up,then maybe it wasn’t just about me.the time I was in the hospital having surgery and died twice on the operating table. You would think that would have been the moment I gave my life to God.Years passed between that operating room and the day I finally surrendered my life to God.Years where God was still pursuing me, even though I wasn’t pursuing Him.Years where God had already shown me mercy, but I didn't know how to recognize it.And then, years later,I experienced another traumatic moment in my life, being sexually abused. And the reality is,this wasn't the first time I had experienced something like that. There are parts of my story that are difficult to put into words.Things I never asked for.Things that left wounds I carried quietly for a long time. But I don't want the details of what happened to become the focus of my testimony.Because my testimony isn't about what was done to me.It's about what Jesus did for me.Somewhere in the middle of all that hurt,Jesus found me.Not because He needed me to be broken in order to bring me to Him.But because He is the kind of God who meets us in places we never wanted to be.The same God who preserved my life years before was still there when my heart was hurting in ways I couldn't explain.I just didn't know it yet.And eventually,I gave Him my life.I said yes to Jesus. Not because everything suddenly made sense. Not because the pain disappeared overnight. But because I realized with the help of my sister I didn't want to keep carrying my life without Him.Looking back now,I can see something I couldn't see then: God never left. And through every one of those years,God was still pursuing me.I sometimes think about how many times He could have let me go my own way.He kept calling me.kept leaving the door open for me to come home.my greatest miracle isn't that I survived an operating table. My greatest miracle is that Jesus saved me & I will tell people about Him,even when my voice shakes.i will spend my life giving Jesus the glory. 📸♥️ @valrii2 by @llramos433

At the feet of Jesus. 🤍 There’s something about being here that reminds me where I belong. Not trying to have all the answers. Not trying to carry everything myself. Just surrendering it all and remembering who He is.

He is holy.
He is worthy.
He is still good.

I never want to get so used to being in His presence that I forget to revere Him. I don’t want worship to just become something I do; I want it to always come from a heart that is genuinely in awe of Jesus.

Sometimes I don’t have the right words. Sometimes all I can do is kneel, lift my hands, and say, “Jesus, you have me."

At His feet, I can lay down the things I’ve been carrying, the questions, the worries, the things I don’t understand. And just worship Him, not because everything is perfect, because trust me it's not, but because He is worthy no matter what. I never want serving Him, doing things for Him, or being in His house to become something I do out of familiarity. I want to remain in awe of Him.
Because worship isn’t only responding to what God has done, it’s responding to who He is. I want to keep coming back here.
Back to His feet. Back to surrender.
Back to reverence. Back to Jesus.

He is worthy when my prayers haven’t been answered. Worthy when I don’t understand what He’s doing. Worthy when surrender costs me something.

Above everything I could ever do for Him, I never want to forget simply being with Him.

May we never become so familiar with Jesus that we lose our reverence for Him. May we always find our way back to His feet. 🤍

Different stories. Different processes. Same faithful God. 🤍 The pit, the waiting, the fear, the suffering etc.
God was faithful then, and He’s faithful now.

Keep trusting Jesus, even when you don’t understand.

It’s anything but easy, but He is worth it. by @llramos433

Fall like rain…🤍
Jesus, there is no greater treasure than knowing You.
No greater place than at Your feet. No greater joy or love. No greater name than the name above every name.

You are the One who loved us before we ever knew how to love You. The One who carried the cross, took our place, bore our shame, and still calls us beloved. The One who stepped into our brokenness so we could be made new.

May the wonder of Jesus never become ordinary. May the cross never become familiar. May His name never become something simply spoken, but forever something treasured.

Let every knee bow in worship. Let every heart remember who Jesus is. Let every song point back to the Savior who is worthy of it all. Let the presence of Jesus fill every empty place, even in a coffee shop, awaken every sleeping heart from any and every generation, and remind every soul that Jesus is still worthy of everything.🤍

Jesus. Only Jesus. Always Jesus.

Siempre Jesús. by @llramos433

—Hebreos 10:24–25
