Liverpool B&C vs Dublin Roller Derby. 2 games 2 positions, haven’t worn the star for a while! Thoroughly enjoyed myself and took home an MVP award! All in all, a very wholesome Sunday! Last time in the saddle was pre-lockdown but it all came back in an instant. Lovely stuff @lindsayerinmurphy #hack #horseriding #sunday #foraging #dogwalk by @llz20

I got stung! Check in later to see if I go into anaphylactic shock. Everything is itchy right now #bee #sting #honey #beehive #beekeepersofinstagram by @llz20

🐝I’m back with my girls after 10 days away. My daughter topped up the syrup while I was away, she filled it almost to the top and you can see how much was left! Thirsty!! The solution had become really watery because of the condensation, did my best to replace with a thicker syrup.

🐜Also there was a distinct lack of ants. The wonderful members of the Women in Beekeeping Facebook group recommended adding Vaseline to the legs and it would stop them from crawling up and I’m happy to announce it worked an absolute treat, it stuck even in the summer heat. Bless my tiny lip balm pot.

🧴I’ve reapplied a shed load of the proper stuff again as you can see. Here’s to an ant-less hive.

🐝There was a drone sitting outside on the death stone (was supposed to be a watering hole) so he’s likely been kicked out. I put a dead female next to him so you can see the difference in shape and size between them.
