This piece is born from the worn and lived fragments of life, a garment that carries the past and reshapes it anew.
Pearls, born from pain, replace the bones. symbols of rebirth, healing, and beauty emerging through struggle.
In a world consumed by endless consumption, this work asks:
How can we create new life from what has been worn and broken?

این اثر از تکه‌های فرسوده و زیست‌شده‌ی زندگی ساخته شده؛ لباسی که گذشته را بر تن دارد و آن را در شکلی تازه بازمی‌آفریند.
مرواریدها، زاده‌ی رنج، جای استخوان نشسته‌اند. نماد باززایی، ترمیم و زیبایی برخاسته از درد.
در جهانی که مصرف‌گرایی بی‌وقفه می‌بلعد، این لباس دعوتی‌ست به تأمل:

Twelve days of war.
Twelve days of fear, sleepless nights, and the aching worry for the ones I love more than myself.
Twelve days where my breath was tied to the sound of sirens and the tremble of every notification.

Did we really deserve this?
And yet
In the darkness, I tried to find light
in small things.
A quiet message: “Are you okay?”

Even my own presence…
the fact that I’m still here, still feeling, still capable of love.

Now I see more.
I feel more.
I hold tighter to what’s real.
It may not be much but it’s everything.
And maybe, that’s enough. by @lmahlla

Some of my recent mixed media explorations:
-The Buried Scream
-Blue Flower
-Red Flower

Each piece carries a different emotion, a silent scream, a fading dream, a vivid memory that refused to disappear.
These pieces were part of the textile design exhibition at the University of Art.

Thank you to everyone who saw them in person and felt a piece of the chaos or calm within.💙
