thank you so much to everyone who came out to see the show last week! we had an amazing time.
here’s a walkthrough of the space. The Mother Game is on view through August 21 at Casselberry Sculpture House (120 Quail Pond Cir). gallery hours are M-F 9am-4pm (or hit me up if you want an after hours tour). go see the work in person! and order a copy of the book at the link in my bio. show/book are sisters, but really best experienced together.

so proud to have my work next to @katshannon’s

i’ve been waiting to post pictures from the Worker Bees unveiling at @mennellomuseum until i had something coherent to say, but i think that is simply not in the cards! i am still so overwhelmed with the turnout and response…it was beyond a career highlight for me. thank you to everyone who came out and has supported this project. seeing that space alive with energy and kids running around was really special. i got to meet some absolute HEROES of farmworker justice who should be household names locally and nationally: Sisters Ann Kendrick and Gail Grimes with @hccapopka, Linda Lee, quilter and Lake Apopka farmworker advocate, and so many proud family members of Geraldean Matthew. Jeannie Economos with @floridafarmworkersassociation has been such a resource, supporter, and megaphone for this project and deserves all the credit for bringing this group of people together.

thank you to the whole @thecitybeautiful Art Pollination and Mennello team—most especially the security guards who kept me laughing during long and hot work days, Emily, and @__katherineep__. @jwchavez designed and riso printed a zine on an insane timeline to share more context around the mural (and love how the didactic sign turned out too). if you haven’t stopped by yet, go take a look and check out juan’s show in the museum—up until january and with multiple takeaway zines!

last but far from least, thank you to my assistant @nataliethomas____! it is frankly insane i get paid to hang out with such good artists and talk about their ideas and then hire them to paint all the most painstaking parts of my mural! all the days you were there were so much more fun.

not to bury the lede, but if you’re like “hey, now what?” here are some action items to consider:
- join @wecount_fl in advocating for life-saving heat protections for workers
- immigrants and undocumented families are often excluded from disaster relief. look to local groups like @floridafarmworkersassociation to see how you can help everyone in your community prepare for and recover from hurricanes
- boycott publix & wendy’s until they sign onto @fairfoodprogram taken in Mennello Museum of American Art by @lmolnar

🎨 A new mural is taking shape outside the Mennello Museum of American Art as part of Orlando’s $1M Art Pollination: Building Food Justice through Creativity project.

Painted by local artist Luca Molnar, the piece spotlights the often overlooked labor of farmers and food workers — including a portrait of attorney Greg Schell, who spent his career fighting for migrant farmworkers’ rights.

✨ Opening Reception: Friday, Oct. 10
• Members-only preview: 5:30–6:30 p.m.
• Public access: 6:30–8:30 p.m.

Tap over to bungalower.com for the full story on Molnar, her journey, and how Art Pollination is bringing food justice conversations to the streets of Orlando.
