Putting their skills into practice! 🖐️💙 Our second-year OTD students recently completed their orthotic case study presentations, where each group had the opportunity to design and handcraft a custom orthosis for a specific diagnosis! Through hands-on learning and clinical reasoning, students applied their knowledge to create orthoses tailored to individual client needs. Another step toward becoming future OT practitioners! 👏🏼 #otdschool #handtherapy #otd #orthotic taken in LMU-Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program by @lmu_otd

Second years have had a great first 4 weeks in Modalities! So far, they have had the opportunity to make Digital gutters, thumb immobilizers, and wrist immobilizers! Soon, they will start on their case study orthotics and apply each orthotic to specific cases! So much fun and so much learning! #pams #modalities #orthotic #otd by @lmu_otd

The 2nd years had the best first week at IJAMS Nature Preschool! 🌿🧸✨

Throughout the semester, our students will be spending lots of time at IJAMS as part of their Pediatrics course—learning, observing, and gaining hands-on experience alongside some pretty awesome little learners! 💛

We’re so excited for all the growth, learning, and memories this semester will bring! 🌱🫶🏼 #OTDStudents #PediatricOT #FutureOTs #HandsOnLearning by @lmu_otd
