‘s statement: we’ve been receiving a lot of hate lately, and we know we’re not the only ones. other lando fan pages, f1 fan accounts, and even people who don’t run fan pages have been dealing with harassment from different groups of driver supporters. the current wave has involved a lot of argentinian accounts, but we want to be very clear that this is not about argentinians as a whole. toxic behaviour in f1 fandom has never been exclusive to one nationality or one driver’s fanbase.

since 2024, we’ve personally seen lando fans receive hate, harassment, threats, and even death threats simply for supporting him, defending him, or sharing an opinion. we know other fanbases have experienced similar treatment too, which is exactly why we don’t want to normalize it as “just f1 fandom” or something that “happens to everyone.”

disliking a driver is one thing. criticizing their performance is one thing. arguing about a race is one thing. sending hate trains, dogpiling people, personally attacking fans, threatening them, or encouraging abuse is an entirely different thing.

at this point, this has been going on for YEARS. we’re in 2026 and somehow people are still acting like this behaviour is just an unavoidable part of being an f1 fan.

there needs to be accountability for harassment in this community, and people need to stop treating online abuse as normal fandom behaviour. you can support your driver without attacking someone else’s. so please share help raise awareness in whatever way you can.

the hate needs to stop.

⚠️‼️ some of you really need to understand that waiting for Lando outside his hotel is NOT okay. ❌

i’ve been seeing more and more fans waiting for him outside, whether it’s before he arrives or when he’s leaving for the track, and i really don’t understand why this is being treated like normal fan behavior. it’s not.

i also won’t be sharing more videos or posts that show his hotel or reveal where he’s staying because i don’t want to contribute to more people finding his location. i know some of you might think it’s harmless because you just want to see him, but following someone to their hotel and waiting for them there is a serious invasion of privacy. it can also be disturbing and potentially dangerous.

being a fan does NOT mean you’re entitled to know where a driver is staying or show up at their hotel. they deserve to have somewhere they can rest and feel safe without being watched or approached by fans.

just because other fans are doing it does NOT make it okay. please do NOT normalize or romanticize it.

let the drivers have their privacy outside the track too. they’re people before they’re F1 drivers. ‼️⚠️
