I realize I didn’t introduce myself, so here’s a slide consisting of my vibe and views that coincide with my poetry. “When I came back home to me all I could do is hold on to me. And be the renegade, the rebel, the lover, and the anti colonial minded being. When i came back home to me I really began to breathe and be.” — LO
You can call me Lo.

Lately been romanticizing and enjoying the beauty In the simple things like architecture, the way wax drips down tapered candles, goth vintage antique decor, flowers, the sun shining amongst fall leaves, lakes, the romance in landscape how willow trees hang meadows— so many things. This is some of late September and October The lemon vanilla pound cake I made for my mom’s birthday. The bouquet I designed for my cousin’s wedding. My night out for sweet friend’s birthday @clarke_mckenzie. I’m back posting on substack. Link in my bio. I took a break. More writing posts regarding substack and other things coming soon. 💋❣️ by @lo.lo.writes

Cancer season has begun
Summer has officially begun
The Summer solstice has reached
My birthday was 6/21
My promise to myself was to do something creative every week
Honoring your creativity is a very necessary thing as human
When my creativity wasn’t a priority I was the most mentally ill
The most unhappy
When I am consistent In Honoring my creativity I am abundant
We are reproductive beings
Even when we are not creating a human
There’s something to create
(And It doesn’t have to be for spectators/for show)
The act of creation makes you feel alive
Reminds you are an alchemist
You’re a creator
