Buddy Read Diaries: The Ex Vows It started with, โ€œShould we buddy read this?โ€ and somehow turned into us absolutely losing our minds. โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” thereโ€™s something so fun about reading alongside someone else because every little moment feels ten times bigger. Every โ€œOH MY GOD DID YOU GET TO THAT PART?โ€ text, every quote spam and every emotional breakdown just makes the experience that much better. โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” Some of our favourite parts of the Ex Vows: โ™ก the tension โ™ก the banter โ™ก the sweetest acts of love (paper rings- we are unwell btw) โ™ก the emotional damage โ™ก and a friendship strengthened by fictional heartbreak. taken in BOOKSTA by @lo.readss

The Ties That Bind Us by Deidra Duncan โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” Thank you to @iris.influencer.society and Deidra Duncan for the opportunity to be part of this book tour! a hidden realm where fading magic, prophecy, and destiny collide. When Sean and David two lifelong enemies are pulled into a conflict much bigger than themselves, they discover their lives are connected to an ancient prophecy that could determine the fate of two worlds. Alongside Anna, a fierce warrior with secrets of her own, they must navigate power, choices, and the ties that bind them.โ€จโš”๏ธ Portal fantasyโ€จ๐Ÿ”ฎ Prophecy & hidden powersโ€จ๐Ÿ‘‘ Chosen one with a twistโ€จโค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ Forbidden loveโ€จ๐Ÿ–ค Why choose romanceโ€จ๐Ÿ“– Multi-POV storytellingโ€จ๐Ÿ”ฅ Enemies to brothers โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ.5โ€จThis was an intriguing start to a fantasy series! I enjoyed seeing Sean and David navigate the changes in their lives as they were introduced to a world much bigger than they ever expected. Watching the story unfold as they discovered more about the conflict surrounding them and how their paths connected was one of the most interesting parts of the book. The concept of Luxoria, the prophecy, and the magic within this world really caught my attention. It did take me some time to fully get into the story, and with the larger cast of characters. Overall, this was an engaging fantasy romance with secrets, destiny, and complicated relationships, and Iโ€™m curious to see where the series goes next. โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” Content Warnings: Explicit sexual content, coercive magic, scenes of gore and violence, references to prejudice and discrimination, and depictions of grief and loss. โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” ๐Ÿ’ญ QOTD: What fantasy element pulls you in the most!? taken in BOOKSTA by @lo.readss

june recap & exciting newsโœจ โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” yโ€™all... this month was a struggle when it came to reading. ๐Ÿฅฒ I hit multiple reading slumps and finally decided to stop forcing it and give myself a little break. Instead, Iโ€™ve been spending more time crocheting and working on a little project that Iโ€™m so excited to share with you all!!! โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” Iโ€™m thinking of launching a small monthly subscription featuring handmade crochet goodies, bookish paper items I design, surprise monthly themes, and fun reading challenges with little prizes along the way. Iโ€™m planning to keep the first launch very limited (around 10 spots). Would this be something youโ€™d be interested in?? If you want all the details, lmk and I can share more details on my story๐Ÿค taken in BOOKSTA by @lo.readss

life lately โœจ โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” hi friends! just popping in with a little life update and sharing whatโ€™s been going on lately. These four books have been sitting on my tbr, and while I know Iโ€™m going to love them, Iโ€™ve been stuck in a pretty bad reading slump and just canโ€™t seem to get into anything right now. I think the timing is just off, so Iโ€™m not forcing it. โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” instead, Iโ€™ve been taking a tiny break from reading (literally a week lol) and getting back into crocheting, which has been so nice. Iโ€™ve also somehow become invested in Love Island, have been keeping up with all the sports lately, and spending as much time at the pool as possible. KNICKS IN 5!!! can you believe it?! And watching World Cup has been amazing too. โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” Honestly, I have nothing to complain about. Lifeโ€™s been good. I just need this reading slump to leave me alone already. Send help. ๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿ“š taken in BOOKSTA by @lo.readss

itโ€™s been about 5 days since I finished this book and Iโ€™m still thinking about it, โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” ๐Ÿ“– a slow romantasy where elemental magic determines status and power, childhood friends Nina Harrow and Patrick Colson are torn apart by secrets, betrayal, and a growing rebellion. Years later, they find themselves on opposite sides of a conflict that could change their world forever. โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ I came for the elemental magic, stayed for Patrick Colson being down horrendous for twelve years. The twists kept me hooked, the slow burn had me stressed, and the ending has me counting down until the next book. Patty, the man you are!!!!
