Only here: Aero efficiency meets handling confidence. The Reserve 57|Disc is the strategic choice for triathletes and time trialists racing in variable conditions. By pairing the drag-shattering Infinity rear disc with a stable 57mm front, this setup allows you to maintain your aero tuck through crosswinds and technical corners where deeper wheels would force you to sit up. by @loamlabs

The anatomy of pure speed. 🚀

Sometimes a build comes together that just perfectly balances raw velocity with real-world reliability. This is one of those builds. Let's break down this stunning aero wheelset:

🎯 Rims: The wind-slicing @reservewheels 77|88. A 77mm front and 88mm rear provide the ultimate aerodynamic advantage while maintaining stability.

🎯 Hubs: The legendary, buttery-smooth @dtswiss 240. Famous for their reliability, light weight, and instant engagement. The perfect engine for a high-performance wheelset.

🎯 Spokes: The lightweight, aerodynamic gold-standard, @sapim_official CX-Ray. Strong, light, and proven at the highest levels of the sport.

It's more than just a list of top-tier parts. It's the synergy between them—the unflinching stiffness for out-of-the-saddle sprints, the razor-sharp handling in the corners, and the satisfying hum of pure efficiency on the open road. This is a "no-compromise" setup built for riders chasing their next personal best.

What's the difference between a good wheel build and a great one? For us, it’s the final 1%.

We had a huge response to our new @berdspokes guide (thank you!), and the number one thing people were blown away by was our proprietary pneumatic press. Why do we use it?

Because Berd spokes have a significant initial stretch. Our press simulates the force of hard riding, pre-stretching the spokes and seating every component perfectly before the wheel ever leaves our workshop. It’s how we compress a 3-day stabilization process into 30 minutes.

The result isn't just a faster build—it's a stronger, more stable, and more reliable wheel that is perfectly settled from your very first ride.

See this machine and the rest of our meticulous process in our complete guide.

The secret to a perfect finish is a flawless start. ✨

Every wheel we build begins with a foundation of consistency, and this tool is a key part of that. We use this Bosch electric screwdriver to rapidly and uniformly seat each spoke nipple in the rim.

This isn't about cutting corners—it's about perfecting the process. By automating the initial, time-consuming steps, we can dedicate more focus to the critical, hands-on artistry of final tensioning, de-stressing, and truing.

It’s finally here. We’re pulling back the curtain on one of our most asked-about services: building the perfect wheelset with @berdspokes.

It’s a process that goes far beyond lacing. It’s a meticulous blend of craft and science, requiring unique tools, proprietary tech, and a whole lot of patience.

In our new Master Guide, we document every single step:
➡️ Phase 1: The non-negotiable hub prep for long-term durability.
➡️ Phase 2: The art of lacing with polymer spokes (and a few key secrets).
➡️ Phase 3: Using our data-driven TRUDI system for algorithmic precision.
➡️ Phase 4: The LoamLabs advantage—our proprietary pneumatic press.

For us, the most satisfying moment is after the final press, when we put the wheel back in the TRUDI system and the data confirms it: every single metric—tension, dish, and true—is perfectly in spec. That's the moment we know it's ready.

We wanted to share that entire process with you. If you’re a rider, a fellow builder, or just a bike tech geek, this one’s for you.
