Naturally, the Sagittarius post would be just a little late… when I think about this particular fire sign, I can’t help but think about the poppy. They are spirited, happy, and simple. Can’t imagine a better way to celebrate Fall than @landtrusttn Once in a Blue Moon fundraiser 🌾🍂🌾🍂

As a Nashvillian that grew up a stone’s throw away from Glen Leven Farm and even attended the preschool just next door, I can’t describe what an honor it was to be a part of this event. The @landtrusttn commitment is to “increase the quality, pace, and impact of land conservation across Tennessee.” We’ve all seen our city evolve over the years and while this new development is exciting and vital to Nashville’s growth, conserving our landscapes and historic sites has never been more important. I couldn’t be prouder to be even just a small part of such an amazing event and cause.

Scorpio season is upon us. Scabiosa is the perfect flower to represent my Scorpios out there.

These little guys might look prickly but they’re as soft as they come. They’re hearty and self-reliant. They might be small but aren’t ever intimidated to be amongst an arrangement of roses, they always stand out in a crowd. Several weeks ago, one of my oldest friends and I picked out her flowers and arranged them together for her wedding. It was so special and was such an honor for me.

In honor of Gemini season, I present to you the pansy. I know it gets a bad rap, but this little versatile flower can grow in almost any condition.
It's social and abundant and its two-toned petals always remind me of our Gemini friends.
It's unsuspecting and lays low but, in my opinion, is one of the most mystic and dramatically complicated blossoms out there. by @local.laurel
