Released in 1978, Blondie and her musical team released #heartofglass after a few modifications from its original version. A staple on any classic station, it satisfies pop, dance-rock, disco, new wave, and fusion genres. It is unfortunate that the band received push-back from some inside and outside the industry at the time, to even include some censorship and forced edits. Today, Heart of Glass is right at home in the club, in the gym, in your car... or being celebrated and honored by your favorite acoustic cover band!

I get asked which guitar is my favorite to play. Hands down, my Crenshaw Custom S-Body, @samuelcraigmusic

I cannot do this instrument justice, but my limited knowldge of one or two scales equals hours and hours of fun for me.

Safe travels, TK. You will be missed.

Before my father was diagnosed with a terminal illness, he asked to meet me at Ken Stanton Music to discuss his next purchase. What I didn't know was his next guitar was actually for me. There was no talking him out of it (i tried). We walked out of there with my Toby Keith signature series, a guitar that had exactky the look, sound, and feel I wanted for Local24, and I'd had my eye on it for several months but couldn't reasonably afford.

This was the last gift I ever received from my old man before he passed in 2019, and I think of him every time I reach for it. Today, this instrument and I are inseparable, and it accompanies me to every show.

Toby's music reminds me a lot of my dad, commonly themed around a blue-collar man who works hard for every dollar he makes, pays tribute to God and country, and champions strong core values. @tobykeith #takamine @kenstantonmusic @christmas.jim by @local24band

Prepping for Private Event this weekend, 80's and 90's music only, by request. Arranging the sets in relative year-release order. Learned some history today. The car was invented in 1886. Took it only 14 years to write a hit song. by @local24band

@dierksbentley released #settleforaslowdown in 2006 and charted #1 on Billboards Hot Country. #gravelandgold tour beginning early summer but you can catch him much earlier if you know where to look (Nashville, Huntsville, 😉) No Atlanta dates, but you won't have far to go to see him... Tampa, Jacksonville, Charlotte, and Raleigh, to name a few. by @local24band
