Such a fun day for our longest stays! How has Stax been at AAC for 400+ days?! So glad @jordanvesey introduced me to him today and we got to see him soak up the sun and truly just be a dog! He’s available for adoption and foster❤️ by @localatxpups

It’s a privilege to choose how to spend your time. Yesterday, with @bexs.besties , I got to bring Tofu out to UT in hopes he would get pets and attention and in the best case scenario, interested adopters.

UT was quiet but Tofu got pets, a pup cup, a burger patty, a ride in AC and hours of undivided attention- a rarity in shelter life. I use social media to help bring these pups more attention bc they all deserve cozy couches and pup cups regularly.

Tofu (and many others) is still available for adoption at AAC. Please consider adopting or fostering. Happy to answer any questions!

PS slide 4 is Cowboy and slide 5 is PJ from a few weeks ago. They needed placement on the feed!

Today’s faces:

🩵Coral (female)- couldn’t get enough of the shade after our walk. She played some fetch and then just laid in the shade telling me “thank you” through her eyes. She hugged me a few times too ☺️

💚Lady Jessica (female) - beautiful dog, high energy, likes to cuddle, loves toys. She let me brush out her coat while she played with a toy and also loved a play yard with some shade. She made me really happy!!

💙Canelo (male)- such a polite walker. I wish I knew his story. Hims is so beautiful with his blue eyes. He is well mannered aka doesn’t jump on you as your approach which. I don’t think he’ll be a shelter boy for long.

Slide 1 is 2 weeks ago- Henry was found roaming loose, exhausted, and suffering from mange and ringworm. The dude has been getting treated and acclimating to his new friends at AAC. He may look like a cheetah now due to his ringworm but he is healing and already looks so much better around his eyes. Big doofus is awaiting his new start and family.
