2025 was as arduous as it was necessary. boiling over just when I grew weary of watching it sit. And as I reflect upon it all I’m reminded how grateful I am to not only have a career in the arts (with all the mismatched, mangled hustle that comes with it) but to genuinely feel I have a place in all this. And I say this not in the name of ego but as a statement to reaffirm a connection to all things. I feel very lucky to have attended Sundance with @kyra.bos to support and honor her work as Art Director on Mary Bronstein’s directorial debut, the cuttingly suspenseful If I Had Legs I Would Kick You. Kyra and I being instrumental in each other’s growth not just as artists but as people makes me extremely proud.The humanity and pulse of New Orleans recharged and energized me as an unexpected place of refuge this summer as the city’s charming banter harmonized perfectly with the greetings of birds, bees, lizards and strays every time I stepped outside.shortly after, Director @owenpatnaude & Screenwriter/Producer @k_mikos two of the sharpest young minds I’ve met in film, took a huge leap of faith not only casting me in my first Feature Film based solely off the strength of a man on the street interview (thank you @ilikerainbows @gaydarshow and of course, the enigmatic @anania00) but trusting me to land the plane in the very last scenes alongside the immensely talented @sparkskatelyn. Upon arriving on set I had no idea we would be shooting zero coverage and doing long, sometimes up to 12 minute takes and Kate, I can’t tell you how much your professionalism and openness immediately reassured me that I was not only capable, but that we could really find it.This year was a metamorphosis. Finally steering toward getting as directly involved in film as possible; whether in front of, behind or slightly askew the camera. Or the monitor. Or my near-dead 2013 MacBook (still runs Celtx) where I finished the first pilot I’ve been hired to write.And with that, I’m extremely excited to say that I joined SAG-AFTRA last night. Not with any expectation of how the next chapter will unfold, but with the sincere desire to contribute to the great stories that really matter. by @localdingus

First time premiering a film, first time doing a Q&A as talent. The Indy Shorts International Film Festival was incredible, thank you @heartlandfilm for accepting our film and organizing such a great event.Was an absolute pleasure to meet so many filmmakers and see their work. Definitely came home inspired with some extra motivation burning in the ol stomach.Long live indie film making baby. by @localdingus

excited to share that “Peace, Quiet & A Little Dirt” has been selected for the Oscar/BAFTA-qualifying Indy Shorts International Film Festivalwas an absolute pleasure to reunite with Director @kevinsamar and act alongside David Letterman writer’s room legend Steve Young and the boy wonder @wilson_wade_hines Every opportunity to collaborate in film making is something I don’t ever take for granted. Super excited to announce that Viva Extra (2024) is finally out. When @stephengriswold called me to ask if I wanted to audition, my initial reaction was sure why the hell not. To my surprise, running lines while pacing back and forth alone in my apartment like an insane person and making some rather bold choices in the audition (Kevin’s face when I started the scene in a southern accent still makes me laugh) would end up being the most creatively nourishing thing I did all year.So thank you to Kevin Samar for writing, directing and bringing the project to life, to the crew for their effort and lending us all their expertise, my fellow castmates and to my longtime pal Stephen Griswold for having faith that I could serve the project.
