What a beautiful day of volunteering! Huge thanks to Papio South’s NHS for helping Local Love spread joy to over 200 strangers. We created mini bouquets with heartfelt notes & resource cards, then distributed them in Shadow Lake. One woman’s words stuck with me, “It will surprise you what your own neighbor is going through.” You never know the impact you’ll have, so please be kind. Thanks again to all who helped make this day possible!

Local Love is partnering with Papio South’s National Honor Society for Valentine’s day. Surrounding this time of year, romance is glamorized and observed all around. It can be hard for those in abusive or violent relationships to reach out and ask for support. NHS volunteers will assemble single stem flowers with domestic violence resource cards & loving handwritten messages. The flowers will then be distributed into the Papillion community personally by members. SignUpGenius will be open soon! 🌹🌺 taken in Papillon-LaVista South High School by @locallove.project
