POSTS STORIES REELS

More than just a puzzle, it's a piece of home 🧩💛

👉 It's a way to reconnect with the places that you know and love.

👉 The town you grew up in.

👉 The place you still call home.

👉 A favourite landmark.

👉 A memory you haven’t thought about in years.

Every Local Puzzle is created to celebrate a real place, with original illustrations, made in Britain and designed to give you something meaningful to enjoy away from the screen.🧠

And when you buy one, you’re not just taking home a puzzle. You’re supporting a small independent business that’s passionate about celebrating local places and the communities around them.🎉

Whether you’re buying one for yourself or giving someone a little piece of home, there’s something special about seeing a familiar place come together, one piece at a time.🧩

Which local place would you love to see us turn into a puzzle next? 👇

One year ago today, I took a chance on a crazy idea 🧩

Twelve months later, Local Puzzle has taught me more than I ever imagined.🤯

I've spent countless hours illustrating new locations, refining my website, testing marketing strategies, meeting hundreds of customers at events, securing wholesale partnerships, and learning what people really buy when they choose one of my puzzles.💛

This carousel shares some of the biggest lessons I've learnt during my first year in business. Some were expected... most weren't. 😅

I'm incredibly proud of how far Local Puzzle has come in just 12 months, we're currently at 26 designs but it still feels like the beginning.

This year, I'm heading into Q4 with more confidence than ever. Stock has been planned properly and ordered, over 12 events are already booked, new products arrive in 2 weeks, and there are some exciting opportunities I'm looking forward to sharing with you.📈

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Local Puzzle so far. Whether you've bought a puzzle, visited me at an event, stocked my products, shared a post or simply followed along, you've helped make this first year possible.🙌

Here's to Year Two. Let's see where it takes us. 💛

A Little Extra Magic for Our Display Stands ✨

You may have spotted something new on our display recently… our custom 3D-printed location signs for Hitchin and St Albans! 📍

Unfortunately they’re not for sale (maybe in the future) — just a little touch we’ve added to make our stands feel more welcoming and to help customers instantly recognise the puzzles from their hometown.

It’s amazing how a small detail can make such a big difference. These signs tie everything together, highlight our collections beautifully, and make browsing even easier (and a bit more fun!). 🧩

We’re absolutely loving them… and we hope you do too. 💛

💌 A Little Stamp, With A Big Heart 💛

Some places have a way of making you feel at home, no matter how much time passes. ⌛

And right in the heart of Hertford stands a familiar sight that generations of local people have grown up knowing — the proud stag overlooking Parliament Square. 🦌🇬🇧

But there's more to this little corner of Hertford than meets the eye.

The square as we know it was created following the First World War, with its iconic memorial unveiled in 1921 to honour local lives lost during the conflict. 🇬🇧

For over a century, the stag has watched Hertford change, grow and welcome new generations.

But it's the everyday moments that make places like this so special. ✨

Meeting friends for coffee. Wandering through independent shops. Family outings. Familiar faces. Or simply passing through the square on a sunny afternoon.

Because the places we pass every day often become the places we remember most.

That's what makes Hertford special.

Not just its history or beautiful streets, but the memories and connections that make this town feel like home.

And that's why we've captured this familiar corner of Hertford in our own illustrated style, turning it into a tiny stamp with a much bigger story.

Because sometimes you don't realise how much a place means to you until you see it in a different way. 💛

📮 Love from Hertford, Hertfordshire.
