I’M COMING BACK TO ATINS this year🇧🇷🌴

From September 27th to October 3rd, I’ll be spending an unforgettable week in one of my favorite kite destinations in the world with a small group of only 8 riders.

This isn’t just another kite camp. It’s a chance to disconnect from the noise, improve your riding, and experience Brazil in a way very few people ever do.

The end 💝✨ this one was special. We all felt a pinch 🤏🏽 in our hearts 💕

We went to bed with a poem from Tom yesterday:

“We came to Atins chasing wind,
But Atins had other plans,
A full moon hanging over us,
Kites dancing above the sands.

And what a way to start the trip,
Under silver, starry light,
Sending jumps into the darkness,
Landing them by moonlight.

Martha led us fearlessly,
Through tired legs and pain,
Fatigue and injuries be damned,
She’d get back out again.
Our fearless leader, always there,
Keeping chaos somehow tight,
Making sure we found the wind,
And got home every night.

We ate like kings, we laughed a lot,
We chased the wind each day,
Across those endless dunes and lagoons
Where words just fall away.

And then that lagoon,
Surely one of Earth’s best views,
Perfect water, endless sky,
And every shade of blue.
Flat water stretching out ahead,
Dunes glowing in the sun,
The kind of place that makes you think,
“Why can’t life always be this fun?”

There was, of course, the downwinder,
A subject best approached with care.
Was it brilliant? Was it madness?
Depends who happened to be there.
Some call it an adventure,
Some may choose another name,
But boring it most certainly wasn’t,
And we all survived the same.

Well… almost all.

Now the trip is nearly over,
And the gear gets packed away,
But Atins gave us more than wind
And perfect kiting days.

It gave us moonlight sessions,
Big crashes, bigger grins,
New friends, ridiculous stories,
And sand in absolutely everything.

We came to Atins chasing wind,
And somehow found much more.
And if this was just the beginning…

There are plenty more adventures in store.”

Day 4 ✨ downwind to the lagoon with local legends

Tom, one of our members from Australia, said today:

“I actually progressed more in these three days then ever”

This is the biggest reward we can have. 💝✨
Tom took 3 says, 5 airports and 10h drive to get here. It’s his first time in Brazil and he chose Atins. With us.

In 7 years here, I have NEVER seen anyone coming from Australia. It makes Tom’s presence even more special.
