There is something so incredible about not yet knowing the kind of love you’re about to have for someone you haven’t even met.

For nine months, you grow them within you. Every kick, every movement, you grow a little closer.

This is where motherhood begins, and with it, the rediscovery of who you are as a woman.

How privileged I am to capture these moments before your whole world beautifully changes.

One day, you’ll realise it was never the big moments they remembered most 🤍

It was the little things.

The way you fixed their hair without thinking.
The hand on their back when they were tired.
The way you always made space beside you.
The cuddles in between the chaos.
The “are you okay?” you’ve said a thousand times.

To you, it’s just motherhood.

It’s Tuesday.
It’s another school run.
Another bedtime.
Another ordinary day.

But to them?

It’s childhood.

And this is why I love photographing families so much.

Because sometimes we’re so busy living these moments that we don’t realise how much they’re worth.

Your children may not remember every detail.

But one day, they’ll look at these photographs and remember how it felt to be loved by you🤍

That’s the stuff I want my camera to hold onto 📸
