As a loctician, I’m constantly learning and one thing I’ve learned is that scalp care is NOT one-size-fits-all. 💧

We’ve always been taught to reach for oil when our scalp feels dry, but oil doesn’t actually hydrate the scalp. And while oils definitely have their place, not everyone’s scalp responds well to them.

For some, frequent oiling can contribute to buildup, irritation, or simply feel too heavy. That’s what led me to learn more about water-based scalp serums and incorporating more lightweight hydration into scalp care. L

This isn’t me saying oil is bad 😂 it’s about learning what YOUR scalp actually needs and honestly it’s hydration.

Healthy locs start with a healthy scalp. 🌱
