Two days. Two certifications. One dream that refused to die. 💜

I applied to this program SIX times before I got accepted. I studied until 2 am most nights. Yesterday I passed my Phlebotomy exam with an 85. Today I passed my Clinical Medical Assistant exam with an 83.

All glory to God, because without Him none of this would be possible. 🙏🏾

They say your new career starts here, and now my face is on posters all across Center City to prove it 🥹

I see it, I want it… and today I’m standing here as living proof that when a woman decides she’s ready to change her life, nothing can stop her. I saw the future I wanted, and I didn’t wait for permission. I went and BECAME her.

Through every setback, every late night, every tear, every obstacle, every moment I could’ve quit… I kept showing up. And now I walked across the stage with a trophy in my hand, a medal on my chest, and a certificate with MY name on it. This isn’t luck. This is faith, discipline, and a whole lot of God’s grace. I’m certified, confident, and stepping into my CNA career with power. Watch what I do next!

Nine years of light, laughter, and lessons that only you could teach me. Being autistic does not change the fact that you are beautiful in every way. You are strong, smart, radiant, and uniquely yourself. You see the world through a lens that reminds me daily of wonder, patience, and faith.

My Nijah Bootz, you are my reminder that strength does not always roar. Sometimes it shines quietly in the way you smile, in the way you learn, in the way you keep moving forward with joy. You have overcome so much already, and you do it with a grace that humbles me. Even when life shifts and changes, you embrace it as an adventure. Wow.. I can’t even believe I am posting this 🥳💜🥹

Seventeen years ago, God blessed me with you my reminder of strength, my teacher in patience, and my daily inspiration. Watching you grow into the young man you are today has been one of the greatest honors of my life. You carry wisdom beyond your years, and every step you take reminds me that our story is bigger than the struggles we face.

This birthday isn’t just about turning 17. It’s about celebrating the resilience you’ve shown, the love you give, and the legacy you’re building. You are proof that even in the hardest seasons, hope rises. You are proof that our family’s sacrifices are not in vain.
