Happy September! My name is Ja’ Porsha! Welcome to all my new followers and what’s good to my OG instafam. I don’t know if I’ve ever given an intro on here, so here we go:

✝️I’m many things, but first a child of God!
✍🏽 I’m left handed
🧥I love to dress up and would consider my style to be minimal and chic, classic
💼My 9-5 right now is an Executive Fellow, but my dream job would be styling beautiful events!
🏡I’m also a Realtor!
🍎I try to live a healthy lifestyle but will indulge in a good dessert when I get the chance.
👩🏾‍🦱I decided to loc my hair 2 and a half years ago and I have no regrets!

Thanks for following along! Let me know what type of content you’d like to see more of!

will never get over the versatility of sisterlocks! this was my first time trying perm rods and I got so many questions and compliments. I used the white rods and got these tight curls that pretty much lasted all week. I think I’m more of a body wave girly but these curls were fun while they lasted!

No, they were made for this. I’ve never been happier to have locs as a corporate girl. Honestly, I think being a loose natural would have stressed me out so much 😩 From 5am workouts to morning huddle, it’s one less thing I have to worry about as I’m moving a mile a minute these days!

Proof of life: This week I grew vocationally 💼 and spiritually 🙏🏾. Becoming an Executive Fellow was not on my career bingo card this year; yet, here I am! God truly blessed me with an amazing opportunity to rotate with the Executives at my company for a year. It has been a fast, furious, and exciting time so far!

All the while, I served my second year at my church’s VBS! What a fulfilling experience to see God through the eyes of our children. Helping them know Jesus better has truly brought my closer to my Heavenly Father.

Thank you, Lord, for carrying me through the long days and evenings and more opportunities to shine your light wherever I go! by @locdnwithjp
