POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hey there, friends—both old and new! 👋🏻

It's high time I reintroduced myself, especially with so many new faces joining the Lock & Key family.

First things first, I'm Kim—the heart and soul behind Lock & Key!

My journey started with a moment of immense bravery from my daughter. She faced a challenging surgery, and the aftermath was tough. Yet, in the midst of it all, she smiled at me—resilient and brave. That moment became my inspiration to step out of my comfort zone and create Lock & Key.

If she could be that brave, she deserved a mom she could look up to.

Fast forward to today, and here we are, offering the crème de la crème of move management and home organizing services—from Kentucky to South Carolina and beyond.

Beyond the organizational realm, I'm a mom, a wife, and yes, an author! The key to my joy is spending time with my family, watching all things on Bravo, and going on quiet walks with my pup.

SWIPE to check out a few featured ways to work with us or connect with us further! ⬅️

Now, it's your turn! Take a second to introduce yourself or share a fun fact about yourself in the comments so that I can get to know you, too!

I’m not crying, you are! 🥹

January marks our 6th year anniversary, and oh boy, what a journey it’s been! From navigating chaos to curating calm, we’ve weathered the highs, lows, and everything in between.

It all started with a move, a surgery, and a brave little smile from my daughter. Her strength and courage during that time inspired me to step up as a mom, as a woman, and as a visionary.

So, I dove into the deep end, leaving behind my corporate friends and started Lock and Key Home!

Reflecting on these six years, I have loved meeting incredible people and making meaningful connections, online and offline.

Overcoming the fear of public speaking, securing news features, podcasting, and even authoring a book in 2019 – these were milestones, but the real victory? Building confidence, feeling like I belong, and turning Lock & Key Home into something beyond my wildest dreams.

Looking ahead, the next few years are all about dreaming big – expanding beyond Louisville and becoming the go-to for luxury organizing and concierge move management.

It’s not just a dream; it’s the plan!

Big shoutout to the fantastic clients, the amazing team, and the unwavering support from family and friends who stuck around through thick and thin. Your belief in me and my vision means the world.

Now, let’s celebrate! Stay tuned in the coming days for a massive announcement on how we’re marking this milestone – hint: there might be a giveaway involved. Turn on your post notifications so you don’t miss out.

Cheers to 6 years of Lock & Key Home – here’s to many more!

A beautiful room is only half the job. The other half is making it work: a spot for everything, a system everyone in the house can follow, and nothing to dig through when it’s game night. Pretty AND practical. #OrganizedLiving #louisvillerealestate #luxuryrelocation by @lockandkeyhomeorg

You asked for the full reveal, so here it is ✨

Her side is sorted by color. The shoes sit on open shelves so every pair shows at a glance. Boots have their own zone. Scarves are filed upright, and belts are coiled in clear rounds. Every single thing in this closet has a home now.

What you’re seeing is the pretty part. Behind it were hours of sorting, editing, and figuring out how she actually gets dressed, so the system keeps working long after we leave.

“Oh… so you’re just an organizer?” 🙂

Yep. Just an organizer.

Just the one holding the keys. Just wrangling the haul-away crew, the packers, the cleaners, and the movers (usually in the same five minutes). Just building a closet around how you actually live. Just boxing art like it’s headed to a gallery. Just leading a whole team in matching navy.

Honestly? “Just an organizer” is my favorite job title. It’s technically true and also hilarious. 😌

PS: I do get paid to do this...and yes, that is a question!

Things I find incredibly chic, as someone who does professional organizing for a living

Not the "after" photo. The part nobody sees: the team, the van, the label maker, and a team juggling every vendor, so you don't have to.

Which one's your favorite? Tell me below 👇

Another chapter closed. 🔑

A few weeks ago we packed up our clients and sent them off to Minnesota as the downsized and wanted to move closer to family. Then we handed off the keys to @bluemoonlexington for a great estate sale, ran donations of everything that didn't sell, and wrapped it up with haul-away from Big Wally.

Now the house is empty and ready for its new buyers.

Moving day is only one piece of the job. We handle the rest so you don't have to.
