Tip for youth baseball athletes: getting into the best position to field a ground ball not only improves your chances of making a successful play or throw, but it also gives you control over the situation. By working around the baseball, you can adjust your positioning as needed and react to changes on the field.

@dansbyswanson demonstrates his ability to get around the baseball and work through the hop. He makes a difficult play look easy. (credit @espn)

Keeping up with training, regardless of the obstacles, will help you improve and stay on top of your game. Indoor facilities and virtual training programs are great options to continue honing your skills even when the weather isn’t cooperating. Consistent practice is key to success in any sport.

Do you practice with intent? Are you intentional with your training?

Tip for youth baseball athletes: As a young athlete, you should treat practice as if it were a real game. This way, you can prepare yourself for the challenges and situations you will face when the game starts. You should also welcome constructive criticism from your coaches and teammates, as it can help you learn from your mistakes and develop your skills. Work hard, have fun, and enjoy the game!

💎 The way you practice reflects the way you perform. Your practice habits shape your results!
