The reviews speak for themselves🤎✨

There’s so much more to an appointment with me than just getting your hair done. I want every client to feel comfortable, cared for, informed, and confident in their hair from the moment they book until weeks after they leave my chair.

Reading messages like these means more than y’all know. Thank you to every client who continues to trust me with their loc journey, recommends me, and supports Lockedbydes. 🥹🤎

From a very young age, I knew my life carried purpose. I didn’t always understand it, but God placed people in my path early on who spoke life, encouragement, and destiny over me. As I’ve grown older and become more spiritually in tune, I’ve learned that purpose isn’t just something you’re told, it’s something God reveals over time through obedience, faith, and consistency.

Today marks four years of Lockedbydes LLC, one of the greatest blessings God has entrusted me with 🥹✨ What started as a vision has become a life-changing reality. This business has opened doors I once only prayed for. Two cars, my first apartment, financial stability, a lifestyle I worked and trusted God for, an incredible clientele, and now the blessing of employing someone of my own. None of this happened by accident.

This is more than a job. This is my calling, my passion, and my purpose in action. God has been intentional every step of the way in the lessons He’s taught me, the seasons He’s walked me through, and even the people He’s removed from my life to make room for growth. Every delay, every challenge, every quiet season served a purpose, and I don’t take any of it lightly.

I thank God for the strength to keep going when it was hard, the humility to learn when I didn’t know, and the courage to step into rooms I once prayed to enter. I’m grateful for His covering, His favor, and His guidance throughout this journey.

To everyone who has supported me, trusted me, booked with me, shared my work, and believed in the vision God placed inside of me. Thank you!! Thank you for seeing the greatness in me even when I was still growing into it. Four years later, I stand in gratitude, confidence, and expectation, knowing this is only the beginning.

I’ve been humble, patient, and obedient and now it’s time to elevate and walk boldly into everything God has next ❤️

Xoxo,
Lockedbydes

I had to be her, to become HER. 🥹✨

Transparency moment… every version of me was necessary.

I had to be the girl just trying to figure it out. The girl taking clients and perfecting her craft. The girl stepping outside of her comfort zone. The girl who wanted more for herself even when she didn’t know exactly how she was going to get there.

I had to be consistent when nobody was watching. I had to make mistakes, learn lessons, take risks, sacrifice, pray, grow, and keep going.

And the crazy part is… I’m still becoming HER. 🥹

The woman I used to pray about becoming is slowly becoming my reality. From working at home, to a barbershop to getting my first suite! Growing my business, teaching others, elevating my lifestyle, taking care of myself, and accomplishing goals that once felt so far away… God has truly been intentional with every season of my life.

So if you’re looking at an old version of yourself wondering why you’re not “there” yet don’t despise her. She’s necessary. 🤍
