A little heart to heart (read only if you care🫶🏾)

Hands stacked in the middle, counting to three, and screaming “LOCKSMITHS” like our lives depend on it because in that second, they kind of do. That’s how we connect. That’s us pouring everything we’ve got into each other before we ever pour it into the audience.🫂

Bringing Musical Chairs to life - producing it, directing it, dancing every second of it - has been one of the wildest rides of my life, and I’m not even exaggerating. New city, new stage, Cape Town throwing curveballs we didn’t see coming (I guess we could’ve assumed some of them) and we caught every single one and kept moving. Because that’s what you do when you’re building something meaningful. You don’t get to skip the hard parts. You earn the story by living it.🙏🏾

Yes, there were nights that tested us. Yes, there were moments it felt like the cost outweighed the win. But I wouldn’t trade a single one of those nights, because that’s growth. That’s the price of building.✨

So today I’m not just grateful…I’m PROUD. Proud of our cast. @yemimah_j @angyil @jamieleejansen @hurrikane_alain Proud of @genii_g for creating such a beautiful story.🔥 Proud of @m.r.i_mantra 🎥 Proud of every person who walked into that theatre and let us move them.💃🏻 Proud of the version of me that showed up every single day, especially the hard ones.
