Introducing Campbellocking!

Campbellocking is one of the most expressive, theatrical, and joyful styles in street dance. It’s impossible to leave class without a massive smile on your face.

Our revamped Campbellocking class will now be at Beginner level, where you can learn and drill the foundations, experience the rich history of the dance, and sharpen your techniques and freestyle skills!

Come join @dtdinh and @lockstatic every Wednesday at 9PM! taken in Evenground Dance Studio by @lockstatic

* Everything Hurts - just your sexy Uncle and Dad cambellocking to R&B music.

@dtdinh and I have known each other for 17 years and this our first time dancing together as a duo in a competition. It was an honor getting down with you man, we carried each others old asses to the semi-finals and kept each other from getting hurt. To many more get downs. by @lockstatic

We’ve got an exciting month ahead, featuring our regular teaching crew and a special guest. Our beloved @lockstatic will be back in town during the first week of October, and we’re thrilled to welcome him back to the Beacon for a class on 10/3, followed by a session! For those who don’t know, Lockstatic taught Locking classes at the Beacon for years before he moved away, and many Seattle lockers got their start through his lessons. This will be an amazing throwback for the community!

In addition, @sbz_joshua is finally back in town as promised! He’ll be teaching three back-to-back intermediate classes. Let’s see what new styles he’s picked up from his time in the Bay Area and Taiwan over the past three months! by @lockstatic

With a new year comes a new schedule! We’ll be now hosting our classes and sessions from 7:30 to 10:00 pm!

And to start the year strong, we got @lockstatic sharing some knowledge with us! 🔥🔥🔥

Garrett “LockStatic Crawford recently moved from Seattle to Oceanside. He is primarly focused on the dance style of locking. Garrett started dancing at an early age, learning jazz and ballet techniques. But his passion for dance grew in 2008 when he became interested in different styles of Street Dance, specifically Locking. He has learned from Original Master Lockers Greg “Campbellock Jr.” Pope, Jimmy “Scoo B Doo” Foster, Fluky Luke, and ShockaLock. Garrett continues to compete and teach locking wherever he goes and hopes to continue to spread the legacy and love of locking passed on from his teachers.
