She is BACK 💙

It's been over 1,5 year since I last rode her and unfortunately I still cant. I'm in love with her new look and can't wait to take her for a spin 🥹 we hope I'll be able to try her upcoming season. If not I'll trust @gijs_st to take her on rides. She has been asleep for way too long!

Thankyou for patching her up and taking care of me once again @gijs_st ❤️

16 weeks. 3 days a week of rehabilitation. And today, this chapter finally comes to an end.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙛𝙚𝙡𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙣, 𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙜𝙞𝙛𝙩. 🍀

After a long road filled with uncertainty and setbacks, it’s time to close this chapter.
The past two years have taught me more than I ever could have imagined. When independence is no longer something you can take for granted, you start seeing life through different eyes.

I never dared to dream I would make it this far — especially against all expectations.

Almost two years later, I’m incredibly grateful for how my arm, hand and wrist recoverd. Things I once took for granted now feel like a gift.

A special thank you to my support system. I truly couldn’t have done this without them ❤️

I'm so excited for the future and to finally get back to normal life again 🥹 by @loes.r6

Trauma dump - apparently it’s ‘nerve damage’ and not main character energy 💁🏻‍♀️

It took months but luckily I am finally improving so my next post will be about a full recovery 😋

Enjoy the ride from right after surgery, noticing first movement, my first backpack ride, first gym session.. Next up: back on the road!?

Thanks to my amazing support system because it's been a rollercoaster ❤️

Le Mans; you were amazing
Two days of just climbing in lap time.
Perfect weather, perfect neighbours.
See you next time, because we will definitely come back.
