Two weeks in Italy turned out to be a good way to wrap up the season 🍕

What started with a cold and the hope that my legs would still be there for Giro dell’Emilia and Tre Valli, ended with a podium in Veneto 🥈 Thanks to the team for the trust and support during the races!

Happy with my first season with @lidltrek. Raced a lot and enjoyed (okay, almost) every bit of it! Already looking forward to building on the good stuff next year, but first: off-season 💃 by @loesadegeest

⛰️ QOM prize for me and a second place for @elisa.balsamo 🥈 after a nice and hard race in GP Region Stuttgart!

Of course we were hoping for that middle spot on the podium, but it’s safe to say it was a very deserved win for @dominika__wlodarczyk 👏

Happy with how I’m feeling at the moment and already looking forward to racing again on Wednesday in Wallonie 🇧🇪

On to the next one! by @loesadegeest

The ‘crit’ical moment of the Women’s UCI Pro Criterium - raw, decisive and perfectly timed. @loesadegeest 🔥 by @loesadegeest

Waited long enough to watch the people leave and the stars fall 🌌

Women Road Pro
Holy guacamoley, is the VIVI ZURICRIT World Tour talent pool endless this year? We are thrilled to welcome Loes Adegeest to the start line, fresh off showing the world her talent at the Tour de France Femmes. The Lidl-Trek rider is a known breakaway specialist who likes to take matters into her own hands and attack early. Interestingly, all her high-level wins so far have come from reduced bunch sprints, and… shhh… don’t say it… but the VIVI ZURICRIT is almost always decided in a reduced bunch sprint.
So look out for Adegeest on Saturday. You’ll probably find her at the front… in a reduced bunch.

Men Road Pro
Oh, this is another exciting one! Lars Forster, yet another top-tier Mountain Bike pro, is making his VIVI ZURICRIT debut. Forster is a seasoned off-road specialist with an absolutely incredible palmarès, we’re talking: XCO World Cup winner, European Champion, Swiss Short Track Champion, Cape Epic winner and three-time Swiss CX Champion.
Basically, he’s the Swiss Army knife of two-wheeled racing. We are certain his varied skillset will translate into a massive performance here, and we expect him to be an absolute headache for the pure roadies and crit specialists. We are thrilled to have this level of talent on the line, and we hope you’re as amped for this showdown as we are.

TDFF 2026: We don’t stop trying until we succeed

Safe to say I hoped for more. Feeling bad and searching for my legs during the first five stages was not how I imagined this tour. After the altitude camp in Andorra, I hoped it would give me that little extra bit to reach my best level ever, but sometimes the body’s reaction is hard to predict. It got hard sometimes to keep believing it could turn around.

But seeing the rest of the team racing so aggressive and committed from the first day on, worked as a big motivation to keep pushing through. So I kept hoping my legs would show up and every stage I went all in to try the best. A short time in the breakaway in stage 3, on familiar roads, luckily reminded me that racing can be fun.

The turnaround came in stage 6, after a hard fight from the start, I found the right moment to attack and spent 75km at the front. The crowds along the roads were great and I finally started to feel like myself again. Gave it another try in stage 8, 135km in a duo breakaway. Good thing I didn’t think about the distance when I started this mission impossible. When at one point we got 6 minutes though, I started to believe we had a chance of making it to the finish, but it wasn’t meant to be.

We’ve chased a stage win every day again, but didn’t get what we came for. Still we left our mark by our way of racing. Taking the price for most combative rider 3 out of 8 days (with 3 different riders), shows that we all raced our hearts out. That’s what I’ll remember most of this Tour.

I hope we’ve inspired other teams and riders as well to go all in for the win, take some risks and just try. Some more company in those long breaks would be very much appreciated 😉

None of this all would’ve been possible without the incredible support of the full team and everyone around me. Of course the staff working in the Tour, but also everyone working behind the scenes during the preparation period, from home, at the service course, etc. A big, big thank you 🫶🏻

We’ll keep trying. by @loesadegeest

The longest stage of the @letourfemmes was full of surprises!

In the end, @demivollering takes the stage win AND grabs the Yellow Jersey. 👑

Only 8 seconds separate the top of the GC... Everything will be decided tomorrow! 🔥
