Happy Halloween 🎃 This month’s prompt was PRESERVED, and I worked on prop design for my animated film THE CURE 🥀 Every month I choose a word and create a piece inspired by it. These are all objects from the lab where most of the film takes place — specimen jars, test tubes, bones on stands, the tank itself.. I had so much fun on these :)) They’re going into the art bible I’m building as I work toward the teaser trailer!! 🔦 November’s prompt is: PROJECTION If you’d like to make some art yourself, interpret the prompt however you’d like — a character, creature, environment, illustration, animation, 3D piece… whatever the word inspires for you! No pressure, no competition, just a fun space to create together. If you make something, come share it in the Monthly Creative Prompts section of the Discord 🌸 I’d love to see what everyone comes up with! Happy October!! 🎃 Last month’s creative prompt was SHADOW 🌑 Every month I choose a word and create a piece inspired by it. This time I went with set design for the main location in my film — focusing on the mood the light and shadows create in that space, heavily inspired by German Expressionism! Environments are really not my forte, so this was a proper challenge! It’s not a polished render, but it’s given me a much clearer sense of how that room should feel, and I’ll be using it as a guide when I take it into Blender. So that’s another piece going into the project bible for THE CURE, the animated film I’m making a teaser trailer for ⭐️ 🫙 Next month’s prompt is: PRESERVED If you want to make some art, feel free to get inspired, interpret it however you’d like — a character, creature, environment, illustration, animation, 3D piece… whatever the word inspires for you! If you make something, come share it in the Monthly Creative Prompts section of the Discord 🌸 No pressure, no competition, just a fun space to create together. I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with! I finally filmed a full Day in The Life working on the Pre-Production of ‘The Cure’, and it’s up on YouTube !! (link in bio 🥀) After some request, I finally filmed and released it :) I got a lot done in one day, from working on the animatic, integrating the voice acting performance, concept art, and design… I don’t always manage this much in one day, but here would have a productive day looks like for me lately ⭐️ #art #dayinmylife #indieanimation #conceptart #artist by @loeva_art
Making my own Animated Film 🥀 PART 21!!! Finally introducing you properly to my animated film project, THE CURE 🥀 a gothic sci-fi fantasy somewhere between Tim Burton, del Toro and Arcane, about a dying girl and a watery creature. I’m currently in development on a teaser trailer with voice actors and a composer, and I’m so, so excited to be moving towards production very soon!! Make sure to follow along with the journey, and consider supporting on Patreon 🌸 #art #animation #indieanimation #conceptart #behindthescenes by @loeva_art
And that’s not even all of them 🐠 It’s incredible to think how much this character has evolved from my first animation of him a couple years ago ⭐️ I’m very excited to have a final design to work with for the teaser trailer :) #art #artist #animation #conceptart #characterdesign by @loeva_art
