POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

IT'S TIME FOR A NEW UPDATE.

We wanted to simplify the process and just make the updates convenient for artists moving forward.

This is being done to take the stress off of artists trying to keep up with separate updates or the concern of "does this track match this playlist?"

This is on us, and we want the experience to be simple and smooth for you all.

☕️ We will be updating the playlists all at once. So send us your three favorite tracks that you think could fit the playlists.

📔 We will be deciding what playlist your track(s) should go into.

🍫 Whether you make it onto the playlist or not, you will receive an email that updates you on your submission status.

SUBMISSION DUE DATE IS NEXT FRIDAY (04/28/2023)

If you have any questions, we've provided some FAQs. Any other questions, please leave a comment below and we'll try our best to get to them.

Once again, much thanks to (@thebeatpapi) for the freshened update for our Info cards and of course, our cover art with each playlist! taken in Los Angeles, California by @lofivibe

Oh, the way the soul chops be hitting with this gem? Fucking mint. Our #vibeoftheday goes out to (@magiehue) as she gives us a sunny cocktail of warm, comforting soul samples that perfectly compliment a summer day while introducing a slow but delicious choice of dusty boombap drums that reminds us to take is easy, ride slow, and kick back. Love it when the jazz gets funky. Our #vibeoftheday goes out to (@bedroomflips) as he gives us a delicious dose of wavy trippyness in the form of jazzy keys and electric synths bouncing in out of a nasty swung out beat that progressively gets hype in the chillest of forms. We love stumbling onto new artists, but we get hella hyped when we see those we know in the community come together to create something together. Our #vibeoftheday goes out to (@going_sumwhere) and (@kilroyish3r3) as the notorious drum knocking bandits fuse their talents to piece a little something nasty but chill, with their signature side chained drums snapping into the forefront, pushing around the soulful sample, switching it up witb chops, and adding a little extra lyrical flavor over the production. Head over to their pages to check out more of their music, throw on the new "sumwh3r3_blue" project, and enjoy. taken in Chicago, Illinois by @lofivibe

Even when the master reveals their techniques, it doesn't make it any less dope seeing the final product. Our #vibeoftheday goes out to (@basterdcrew) as he walks us through his carefully curated sample selection to cook up a laidback, dusty drummed, and perfect nod to the 90s that honors Tribe's original style. Shit like this let's us know hip hop will continue to be in good hands, and is a solid way to start your week. Our #vibeoftheday goes out to (@elithadon) steps to the mic, gets in our face, and educates us as to why we respect his name as he spits bar after bar, never holding back with each punchline, all while flowing over an eerily grimy production from (@fols86) that feels like a slow kill type of ambience. Kicking the goods off with some crackled drums is our soft spot. Our #vibeoftheday goes out to (@awkward_mclain) as he blesses our souls with some easy going chilled out ambience that blends some dusty drums and wonderfully whimsical sample chops to craft an end product that has us lifted and floating in the clouds. Listen, you get these two legends in a room with jazz samples and it becomes a kitchen. Our #vibeoftheday goes out to (@nuvintagebeats) and (@emapea.music) as they share a kitchen space, tossing the sweet tastyness of jazz into the pads, chopping and looping to perfection, while coming in clean with some 90s era crisp drums that have us slightly bouncing with a little pep. Sundays will always be for soul, and this shit knocks. Our #vibeoftheday goes out to (@cuthmakesbeats) as he takes it slow but nasty with a casually badass liveset that sees hard hitting drums that immediately grab our attention, playing partner to some delicious soul chops and tweaks that just gets ohr stank faces working overtime.
