My first time seeing the one and only Jilly from Philly, Jill Scott, live at the iconic Royal Albert Hall, and what an experience it was. An extraordinary evening filled with warmth, soul, humor, and a voice that effortlessly fills every corner of the room. Her presence, her energy, and the way she connects with her audience made this a night unlike any other. Pure soul, pure magic, pure #JillScott. ❤️🎶 @missjillscott taken in Royal Albert Hall by @loft965

🎶 Last night, I attended the final London show of Erykah Badu’s An Intimate Experience at Blue Note London. 🇬🇧
It was my third time seeing @erykahbadu live. The first two were at Constitution Hall in Washington, DC, during my college years. I was blown away then, and more than two decades later, she did it again.
This time, in a remarkably intimate setting, she was just a few feet away. Her extraordinary musicianship, effortless improvisation, and unmistakable charisma were even more captivating up close.
Made all the more special by sharing the evening with a dear friend and unexpectedly running into more loved ones. A night of soul, friendship, and serendipity. ✨

🎧 Album Of The Week: Day and Night – Carly Rae Jepsen

📝 Gist: An ambitious double album that gives Jepsen’s pop romanticism two distinct worlds — dreamy and sunlit by day, sleek and nocturnal by night. Expansive, playful and wonderfully indulgent.

🎶 Key Track: “Versailles” - @carlyraejepsen

🎧 Album Of The Week: Mini Skirt Warrior – flowerovlove

📝 Gist: A charmingly assured debut — bright, candid pop about first loves, heartbreak and growing into yourself, delivered with enough wit and personality to rise above its coming-of-age premise.

🎶 Key Track: “I’m Your First” -@flowerovlove

🎧 Album Of The Week: Algorithm – Natalie Imbruglia

📝 Gist: A spirited return that grows on you with every listen — Imbruglia mixes synth-pop, rockier edges and her familiar melodic melancholy into one of her liveliest records in years.
