It is with a heavy heart that I announce my good friend, Quentin, has sadly let the anger, depression, and overall lack of self love take over. When I found out yesterday morning waking up for school it was unbelievable, I texted him and called him, I cried, I was angry, I was hurt, I couldn’t think straight, and overall couldn’t feel after that. I was so numb, how could someone with so much spirit, so much joy, so much passion, rip themselves away from the life given to them. How could I as a person wake up, breathe, get ready, go to school, see my friends, and he couldn’t. I have withheld so much guilt from the past not even 48 hours of knowing you are gone. You sent me a video 2 days before you committed and told me you loved me, I talked to your family, I talked to your friends, your girlfriend, and they were all so devastated to know you left us. You didn’t leave us, I felt you guide me through two days of school with the knowledge you are not going to be there to call me when I get home. I sat in bed last night and this morning waiting for a call, I didn’t sleep, I couldn’t feel. Quins funeral was today, I held self conflicting emotions inside my heart for not being there to witness you being lowered. I saw your obituary which made me smile, it made me angry, it made me sad, it made me feel. You made me feel something when I felt it wasn’t possible, you made me feel something when you couldn’t, you made me feel something but took your own opportunity from feeling, for what? I do not blame you, I do not blame anybody, but this is a reminder to all. If you are struggling, talk, call, message, do anything to can you find you that help because I promise, just because you can’t feel right now doesn’t mean you never will.
