- Chloe, On this day—eighteen years ago—you entered this world. I’ll never forget holding you for the first time! Your vibrant eyes pierced my soul then—as they do now—and will forever. You are the only human being that can make me feel utterly helpless—yet force my dependence on God. It’s a beautiful thing. It was your birth that set off God’s redemptive timeline in my life. You were and will always be the most beautiful interruption. I owe so much to you, more than you realize or give yourself credit for. Your mother and I are so proud of you, and I found the greatest joy escorting you for homecoming court. You looked so beautiful. I’m confident, in the coming months, that God will reveal His will for your life in great detail. I have no doubt that God’s prophetic storyline for you is something we wouldn’t believe if He told us. We’re here for it! He has always kept you and always will. Through good and bad, it makes no difference. When you pass through the waters, He’s there. When you go through the valleys, He’s there. When you walk through those fires, He’s there. You will never be alone. Nothing can—or will—ever separate you from His love, nor from ours. Happy Birthday, Chloe Bug! Love Dad 💛 by @logan_puck
July reminded me once again that life is precious. It’s a gift from God, and our time here is so valuable. Ecclesiastes 3 is a constant reminder that everything has a season. While so much in this world changes, God never does. His timing is perfect, even when I don’t understand it. My job is to trust God, enjoy the gifts he’s given, and worship Him through every season. A few things I’m taking with me: • Jesus can transform even the hardest heart in His time. • Be the Church outside the four walls. (John 4:21) • Sometimes we overcomplicate the Gospel. • Hug your teens tight. 🥹 • Give grace freely… 70×7. Here’s to a busy August. 🤍✨ by @logan_puck
It’s gonna be different without this guy on the diamond next year! @jayden.riley2 , I’m glad I got to watch you compete one last time. You even got your wish to play some infield. 😂 Best wishes next year at the USAFA. 🇺🇸 Go be great. It’s been a joy to coach you all these years & see you grow into the young man you are today! by @logan_puck
God’s grace is all over you, babe. I can’t quite wrap my head around how your blessing multiplies with the days and years. It’s a delicate mystery but something so beautiful to behold. Just know—your worth as a mother—is immeasurable. Happy Mother’s Day! We ❤️ you by @logan_puck
☀️ Today, I’m grateful for the sign of Jonah! 🐳 Happy Resurrection Day—from the Pucketts!!! by @logan_puck
Forever thankful for Jesus; his death, burial and resurrection. The same power lives in us! ✨ “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,” ‭‭I Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ by @logan_puck
I always enjoy preparing my heart this time of year and spending QT with my family. It’s special to us. He is faithful. He never fails to grace me. His works are marvelous. We could never comprehend them. His voice is like a whisper. We often miss it. We can’t understand the thunder, but we must commit to the search. We must seek him with our whole heart. It’s the glory of God to hide. It’s the glory of man to find. by @logan_puck
An eBook series is in the works! It’s been a passion of mine for some time to help young ballplayers achieve their goals and give them the best baseball experience possible. My goal is to help grow the game, close the gap in the talent pool, and prepare players for the high school level. After coaching for the past 10+ years, one thing has stayed true: young ballplayers thrive in programs structured around the basic fundamentals of the game. Many players are being left behind. That’s why I’m creating a guide specifically for the baseball dads, the volunteer coaches, the ones showing up early, staying late, and googling drills at midnight. This series is for you. It’s meant to simplify the game—not water it down. I’m pulling together fundamentals that have stood the test of time, taught in a way that all can apply. Whether you’re brand new to coaching or just looking to sharpen your approach, these guides will walk you through the things that matter: • basic mechanics that actually work • efficient movement patterns that bring stability • drills that fit within short practice windows • mental frameworks for young players • and strategies that help your team play with confidence Here are some of the topics coming your way: ⚾️ Developing young pitchers ⚾️ Infield, outfield, and catching guides ⚾️ Hitting mechanics and progressions ⚾️ Offensive and defensive strategies ⚾️ Practice planning, game-day prep & team culture Some feedback would be awesome— what topic would help you most right now? Or is there something not listed here that you wish someone would break down simply? Leave the topic you’re interested in learning more about in the comments below. by @logan_puck
- PART I- We were fortunate to get away this weekend and enjoy one another’s company—kid free. Thanks to all who made that happen! 😉 We didn’t do much, but we did everything. We ate and drank, our hearts merry with love. We walked, we talked, we sat down—and time slowed down for a moment. We slept as long as we could and just found rest in our own way. It was beautifully simple. I finally feel closure as one chapter is closed and another begins. Here’s to the journey. PART II -This past year, our family mustered up the courage with a grace-filled “yes” in our hearts to follow God’s will. We sacrificed much, believing and trusting that He would do His part, whatever that looked like. We gave because He freely gave in bringing us this far. Our lives, we owe to Him. We live because He lives in us. It was a no-brainer, but it was difficult; sacrifice always is. Our journey has been nothing short of a mixed bag—ups, downs, round and rounds—but with beautiful and merciful signposts, God has always led us, and He has marked us as His own. We’ve been on the mountaintop. We’ve been in the valley. We’ve been in the wilderness. We’ve been to the watersprings of life. I can say—with all my heart—that God will never abandon us. In this season, our marriage suffered, our children suffered, our relationships were strained, but we held on and love did what it does best, it prevailed. Despite it all, we still had joy and hope. We experienced victory and a special blessing with some wonderful people, but God’s divine-will carries with it an element of mystery. Nobody can fully understand it. As soon as we think we have it figured out, His sovereignty surprises us. His ways are past finding out. We can’t ever truly put our finger on it. PART III IN COMMENTS. by @logan_puck
Round 2 ✅ Hughes Springs vs Malakoff 🏆 Area Champs Headed to the Regional Semi’s! At this point we’re playing with house money. We’re all in and grateful for the opportunity. So thankful for this group of young men that continue to fight and believe. #brickbybrick #gatebygate #OGC by @logan_puck
Happy Mother’s Day, babe. This year has been one crazy ride for our family. So many firsts. So many challenges. So many blessings. Truly, I couldn’t do it without you. You are my strength behind the scenes. You carry all the baggage that comes with being a coach’s wife. You pick up the slack that I can’t. You sacrifice daily for a vision that’s not even yours, trusting God that it will all be worth it and that He is faithful to hold up His end. You are the best mother to our babies. We are so blessed by you—from sun-up to sun-down. Don’t ever think for a second you aren’t valued! If only you could get all our babies to smile in a picture. Just playing. 😆 😘 We love you. by @logan_puck
Round 1: Hughes Springs vs Atlanta 🏆 Bi-District Champs I plan on doing a better job documenting our season. These young men flat out competed and believed til the very end. It took some heavy lifting and was a full-team effort. It was beautiful to see. We are building—gate by gate. (Nehemiah) #onlygodcan by @logan_puck
