PREVIS YOUR PROJECTS!!! If I could give ONE piece of advice for leveling up your work, it’d be that. Start off by doodling your shots, throw em in a timeline, and record yourself doing the voiceover. Then, go act it out with some friends to see if it works. You’d be shocked how close you can get to the final product. You’ll know exactly what you need on the day of production. If you’re only asking yourself HOW to get a shot instead of WHAT shot to get- you’re in good shape.😎 #previs #storyboard by @loganclarkdial

When you and the boys hit the product shot: A high like no other. A bond forged in steel. Big shout out to @ryanhuntermurphy for showing me about toothpaste and hairspray or something at home one time to make this all possible. Was that good murphy? by @loganclarkdial

The other day in the office I mentioned that we started filming Jaunt more than two years ago and there was a shared disbelief that it’s been that long. I dug up the original text to @justice_jax_berry. It got me thinking though how crazy the whole journey has been and I figured this was a fun way to share some of the milestones so far with this short film. So much goes into making films. Plans, obstacles, pivots, success and failures, but always learning experience like anything in life. Cheers 🥂 #blkelk taken in BLK ELK by @loganclarkdial

After a year long festival circuit, JAUNT is available for streaming online! Link in bio! We are incredibly stoked to share it with y’all. The support for this short film has been amazing. A happy hour beer turned into a collaboration of some of Arkansas’ most rad individuals. @justice_jax_berry, thanks for pouring your heart into this film. Daniel Davis and the @944_safari, your team saying YES brought this project to a new level. It also wouldn’t have been possible with @tacodust, @rigdsupply, and @jimi_sendricks . Thanks for supporting small projects. It means the world. So much gratitude to everyone of the crew poured their blood sweat and tears into this project. And lastly, shout out to @thedarkskinnedghost for bringing the soundtrack to life with his track “How Sad”. This film brought our team back to Canada for Banff and Telluride for Mountainfilm. It was an honor to share a story from Arkansas on the world stage. And to everyone who has seen it on the big screen, go watch, like, share, and help us continue the momentum online! 🖤🖤🖤 Jaunt - 8.28 Stay tuned.
