The latticed bar at our Garden District project transformed the way this 1853 Greek Revival home feels. By reopening the original center hall and connecting it to the lush rear garden, we brought Louisiana sunshine into the heart of the house. The soft green grey latticework with mirrored shelving multiplies the light, while the large wicker pendant from @soanebritain and tumbled stone floors lean into the indoor-outdoor connection.

The past year has been wild, y’all! Between shifting Sunday Shop to online-only and moving our studio to New Orleans’ Warehouse District, we’ve been heads-down (and wheels up).

This partner’s photo by the loveliest @augustasagnelli feels so special—taken @chartres1883 , a project we are so proud of, dressed by the singularly chic Lakan Golden of @studiolakan , at a time that is adding up, little by little, to be pivotal for us.

New Orleans hospitality is having our hearts: from the opening of Chartres 1883 and @saintclaire_neworleans , and an almost open @cafe_malou , to a historic boutique hotel renovation that’s going to be absolutely stunning. It has us falling deeper in love with this city’s incredible design community, renewing our sense of play and enjoying the creative push of working with others that are as driven and passionate as we are. We’ve been blown away by the care and thought for our community that these owners and collaborators bring to the table. Kindness seems to be a common core value, and we are here for it.

We’ve also been in constant airplane mode, wrapping our first Cincinnati project, at the finish line on an adorable cottage in LA, and starting two extremely exciting projects in New York (so proud of our amazing team!), not to mention sourcing trips in Atlanta and an excellent team building trip to Austin last week. Travel gives us one of our favorite parts of this work: discovering hidden gems in design and craft, building deeper relationships with artisans and makers… and eating at all the restaurants and touring all the hotels! Look, someone has to do it.

While Sunday Shop has taken a slower pace as of late, so much has been going on behind the scenes with collaborations, collections, and some fun vintage drops we can’t wait to share. We’ve learned to relish taking the time to pivot and build.

Running two small businesses is both a dream and a wild ride, and we’re so proud of their progress this year. More to come! Love you team!! by @logankilleninteriors

It takes a particular group of people to imagine what comes next for a house with this much history.

For The Whit's next chapter, Gretchen Trauth, hotelier and CEO of ERG Enterprises brought together a team of architects, interior designers, hospitality leaders, culinary talent and bar talent whose work reaches into nearly every corner of the experience.

Together, they’ve considered not only the spaces themselves, but what happens within them: the welcome at the door, the details in each room, what’s waiting at the bar, and the feeling a guest carries with them when they leave.

Many points of view, united by one shared intention for The Whit and for what hospitality in New Orleans should feel like. by @logankilleninteriors

So much of this project was about bringing the outside in, especially in the converted rear porch, now a sun-drenched breakfast room wrapped in botanical fabric and garden light. Photography @augustasagnelli by @logankilleninteriors

At our historic reno in the Garden District, the unused space beneath the staircase on the main floor was transformed into the sweetest lil powder room. Because the masonry wall supporting the staircase was load-bearing, creating the room required some pretty extensive work. We also shifted the side entry doorway slightly to recenter it in the space once the new powder room wall was added.

Swipe through for the before & after shots! We’re kind of obsessed.

The formal front rooms at our recent Uptown residence are spaces for retreat, inspiration, and sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the back living areas. For a creative professional with two teenagers, our client desired personal spaces—curated, elevated, and reflective of her taste and extensive collections. @cecevillere
