part of me thinks i’ll get back to creating youtube videos here soon

part of me wants absolutely nothing to do with the internet again lol

it’s an interesting place to find oneself, but i think many of us feel the same

the urge to step away and live a quiet, simple life has never been greater, yet the doubt of being able to build the life you want without the internet is all too daunting in this modern world

surely it is possible

anything is

but the lies we are sold on these platforms are all too compelling

nature never lies

it’s no wonder man has never been more confused with no idea what to do

his connection to nature has been severed

and his own, inner nature hijacked

he wouldn’t know the truth if it knocked on his door or sat down next to him in the cafe

perhaps we’d each be a bit better off if we found enough courage to pull the safety pin on all that we thought we knew & ought to do

and see the world be born anew

a few excerpts from my recent newsletter that i send at sporatic moments throughout the month. one day i may stick to a strict schedule, but for now it will be like my sleep…when & if it comes

it’s easy, and increasingly more so, to identify and point fingers at all of the problems in our world largely due to the collective consciousness and way in which our society moves through existance.

i am no exception

recently though, i had a rare moment where i noticed how magnificient it was…concrete jungle and all. to have this many people existing somewhat harmoniously is quite impossible yet it is happening in real time.

could it be better?

indefinitely.

but at least the problems give us solutions to work towards…to be of service to something greater than ourselves…and to maybe, just maybe, spark a ripple of positive & long lasting change.

box elder for lunch!

my life has changed in a dramatic way within the past nine months let alone handful of days

and i’m not really so sure how i am going to proceed with creating videos and all this social media jazz

maybe i’ll go back to how i was at 11 years old or so and refusing to downlod instagram because “it was a distraction” from my once professional baseball player goals

how wise my innocence now seems to be hahah

i just know parts of me have to die or at least be stored away for the time being and that’s something that i am struggling with but understand that perhaps it is calling me towards a path that is more fulfilling

feels like i am slightly at war with myself and while that’s not always a fun place to be it is a human place to be and if there’s anything you see from these digital distractions i upload to this app, i hope some of it feels rich in realness-in humanness-as we are all, for the time being, still human

otherwise i will be in the mountains when i can, walking the streets of lehi with my two girls, and laying vuba stone like a true blue collar boy

how funny & beautiful it all is when you look at it from a widened perspective
