Colorado 2025 was one for the books!

Can’t begin to thank everyone who helped me with this hunt, especially my dad who’s been here with me pretty much the entire time. Every day was a grind. Constantly sweating that I wasn’t going to find “the one”. It all came together fast as time ticked down to the wire. Hunting is a crazy mental fight, never stop grinding for what you want!

cameras were always so intriguing to me

i remember when i was younger my uncle had a really nice camera and everytime we got together as a family i would borrow their camera and annoy everyone as i took hundreds of out of focus up close pictures. as long as i can remember i was obsessed with cameras, staring in wonder as my aunt and uncle changed settings, lenses and positions to take the most beautiful pictures.
when i got into highschool one of my best friends asked me if i would make a campaign video for her while she ran for Student Body President, i said yes knowing full well i had never attempted to even trim a video before. over the next few days i spent countless hours on google researching editing software and content creation guides for newbies. after a week of no sleep and more stress than i've ever had, her video went up and she won. after that i made more and more videos for my highschool, local businesses and sports teams it was one of the first hobbies that i truly loved and was always happy doing no matter how hard it got.
when i left on my mission i put my camera in a box in my basement and assumed it would be a few years before i picked it back up. but God had a different idea. halfway through my time serving i was able to create content again, but this time for an even greater purpose. this time it was to share a message of Jesus Christ and His Gospel.
i have never felt more joy than when i create videos or pictures that will help bring somone closer to the Savior.
i decided to share all of this because i recently studied the parable of the talents. while studying, i came to the understanding that God has a very real and personal knowledge of our lives. he knew that i could use something i loved to help people. it was terrifying to film people i barely knew and post the videos i made on pages with tens and even hundreds of thousands of followers. but God knew i needed to do that to grow, He knew that he could help me with inexperience and self consciousness, those things are easy for him to fix. all he needed me to do was not bury my talents. by @loganmarshall_43
