Many queer individuals so often miss out on key milestones in life...one of those being school dances. 💃🏼🕺🏼

The opportunity to dress up; the potential of being asked out; the high energy raving followed by a low and slow dance with someone special.
We'd like to share that chance for all with our Queer & Ally Dance Social!

Our Theme will be:
🕒 Time Warp 🕒

This time 'round...you dress how YOU want! Any era, any fashion, any gender!!
(no date required to attend)

Location:

Whittier Community Center

290 N 400 E, Logan, UT 84321

When:

November 22nd 2026 @ 6pm - 10pm

Tickets will be $10 for Early Birds, $15 for at the door

Funds raised will be going to our Community Care Grant which serves our community by providing financial aid to individuals who are struggling with providing it by themselves.

All of the expectations of a "typical" high school dance will be found! Photo backdrops, refreshments, fidget toys, a dedicated calm space, a space for Board Games, the iconic Punch Bowl, and more!

Volunteers of this event will be given a free ticket to the event, which they can use for themselves or donate for someone in the community who may want to join in the festivities but are stopped by the financial barrier.

What you gain through your ticket purchase:
Entry to event!
Refreshments!

✍🏼 Calling all party/event planners! 📋

On: October 24th @ 10 am - 11 am

We are getting down to the small details and execution with planning this Queer & Ally Dance.

Many Queer individuals miss out on key moments through life. One of these is having the chance to ask or be asked out to a school dance.
We're looking to plan and host a dance where folks can experience that moment. So let's recreate that!!

But first, we'll need your help with the execution and planning of it! by @loganprideut

Are you, looking for something to do the weekend of November 8th?

We have the opportunity to stake flags for Trans Awareness Week with @projectrainbowutah!

If you are interested in helping please fill out the volunteer form by November 5th! We're mainly looking for folks who can drive. (We will also be pulling the flags out on the weekend of November 22nd)

We are anticipating 5-6 routes, which would need 1-2 volunteers each.

Thank you for your help! by @loganprideut

Matthew Wayne Shepard was an American student at the University of Wyoming who was beaten, tortured, and left to die on a fence near Laramie on October 6, 1998. He was transported by rescuers to Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he died six days later from severe head injuries sustained during the attack. by @loganprideut

Logan pride held something special for me and the way I was able to show up for my community in my hometown. Growing up there was no pride, no access to the queer community, and no education on safe sex practices, gender exploration, and sexualities. There were not parades, and celebrations of love and acceptance, but now there is. It’s still growing, there is much to do to continue fighting this fight. It was a privilege and an honor to show up for Logan’s Pride. I saw so many young humans getting to explore themselves and I can’t describe how healing it was to be a part of that. I don’t post minors on my social media, but I got to interact and help kids, teens, volunteers, adults, and families of all sizes, show up and celebrate 🎉 if you or a loved one has ever needed a space to be yourself, and feel safe doing it… then you found it here 🫶 #queerness #selflovephotographer #slcqueerphotographer #portraitphotographer by @loganprideut
