So grateful we could be a part of it 🧡🧡

“Posted @withregram • @cf___to We extend a sincere thank you to our friends over at @grapecrush.wine for organizing an ongoing fundraiser that supports both meals for the fridges and local restaurants. With profits from their wine, they have been able to purchase meals from both UFO Restaurant & @logascornerto to be delivered to the fridges by our pals at @thebikebrigade ! Fundraisers like this are a great example of ways businesses can support their community! As well, did you know that beloved Parkdale restaurant @logascornerto has been supporting the community with free meals for those who need it, sometimes up to 20 meals a day. We love to see it, such a great example of a leader in the community! ❣️❣️❣️”

Thank you so much for these beautiful words! You guys are what keeps us going ❤️❤️❤️

@lowbrowgourmand Inspired by a @jonrehab IG story, I recently made my way down to Parkdale to donate some groceries at the @cf___to fridge while also checking out a local food destination: @logascornerto.

Dumplings are arguably one of the most perfect foods, which may be why each culture has their own version. In Tibet, they're called momos and Loga's Corner is offering them to Toronto, 7 days a week.

You can really taste the passion put into the momos sold here, which are made from scratch each day. A small restaurant run by a husband and wife (Loga and Dolma) this little shop opened in 2012 and since then has developed a big following. Serving vegetarian and meat momos (option of steamed or fried), homemade hot sauce, pickled spicy radish, and mango lassis, I've never walked past Loga’s Corner without a line up and now know why.

Although their meat dumplings have their fair share of rave reviews, the vegetarian momos were what stole my heart. They were delicious - stuffed to the brim with a variety well seasoned vegetables. It is obvious that effort went into making them their own standout dish, not a token side note that vegetarian options can sometimes be. (You know what I'm talking about.)

I love supporting small businesses and you'll find that they are the only places I'll write reviews about. This is because the food almost always has more heart, better quality and their owners have a stronger connection to their communities. Loga's is no exception as they are well known for giving back to the Parkdale neighbourhood. Next time you're in the area I suggest you give them a try and fall in love with their momos for yourself.
