Two months in Boise!

I visited this city about 10 times before moving here, and every time I left I’d tell myself, “I could really see myself living here one day.”

And here I am.

These last two months have been fun, exciting, scary, and honestly lonely at times. But I’ve always felt that doing things that scare me is what makes me feel alive, and that’s been the real blessing.

This is my first time living alone. It’s challenging, but I’ve learned so much about myself. I call the shots on how I spend my time and how I live my life, and there’s something really freeing about that.

I miss my family so much. Being away from them has made me appreciate them even more.
At the same time, this move has given me space to focus on myself and learn what really drives me. I’m putting myself out there, meeting new people, and challenging myself to make the most of life on my own.

The only two people I knew when I moved here were Blake and Karina, and I’m so thankful for them. They’re truly my best friends. They’ve been showing me the Boise way, from football games to just hanging out and taking strolls through the North End.

Those who know me well know I’ve moved around a lot over the last few years. Every move has opened doors and brought new opportunities, but honestly, I don’t know if any of those places ever truly felt like home. I guess I’ve been searching for a place to call home, somewhere exciting and full of opportunity.

I don’t know if Boise is one chapter of my story or the rest of it. Who knows. For now, I’m keeping my options open and taking opportunities as they come.

I’ve been building my collection and wanted to share some pick ups I got at my local card show this weekend. I had a budget of $1000. I ended up picking 13 cards that I’m going to send to PSA.

I started collecting seriously about a year ago. I spent so much time learning the hobby and I love. Studying card markets, pricing, and rarity is just something I geek out on.

Also, over the last few months I’ve been developing a software called @BullectCards to digitize my collection so I know all the cards I have, how much they’re worth, and how their value values change over time. It’s actually really cool. 😎 taken in Boise, Idaho by @loggie17
